    Man shut up with that.

I'm 16 years old, and didn't even start listening to hip hop until like 5th grade, and at the time Nelly was what was poppin. What do you expect? I like what I like and not what everybody else likes in terms of what good hip hop is.

being young is no excuse bro.
just because you can't vote doesn't mean you can't hear.

I know it isn't excuse, but it is a reason. I said TCII is my favorite album, another reason is because this is the generation of downloading, this is probably the only album I listen to front to back which is why its why its my favorite.

Instead of naming, I'll just post the covers:

Since I'm too lazy to look up any more pictures, the rest of my list would comprise of the Marshall Mathers LP, Justified, Born 2 Do It, Thriller, Slim Shady LP and 8701.

I honestly can't just pick one CD. If I had to, it would probably be All Eyez On Me...the GOOD songs on that CD (No More Pain, OGCJM, etc) really turned me into a guy who liked deeper and more poetic songs as opposed to stupid party songs and stuff.

this is one hell of a good pick. props.

I really don't have a favorite band/album, so I'll just post one of my favorite Canadian ones.

It's a pretty creepy album cover, but whatever.

I can't put one down because I listen to far too many genres of music. I'll just list the five best that come to mind at the moment without placing two from a band or artist.

    Coldplay - Parachutes
    [IMG]

    Dredg - El Cielo
    [IMG]

Elbow - Leaders of the Free World
    [IMG]

    Venus - Vertigone
    [IMG]

    Vitalic - OK Cowboy

Verlvet underground were great. One of the most inspirational bands of all time, though considerably quiet in the media IMO for the most part. Venus actually took their name from one of VU's tracks.

"Venus In Furs"? Man, I didn't know that. Venus is much better than I thought they'd be by the way... still loving that rec. [IMG]

Aye, "Venus in Furs" is right. You know I wrote the official article for them (Venus) over at Wikipedia? I've noticed most Belgian artists make insanely original music. Velvet Underground will always be one of the best bands out there even far after they're gone.
