I have one old skool random player and one new skool.Larry Johnson was a killer @ UNLV the running rebels and was drafted no.1 overall pick in 1991 by Charlotte when they were the Hornets then traded to NYK and to me he just did not live up to my expectations.Dee Brown was my favorite college player could have went pro his junior yr @ Illinois but waited to bring his draft potential up and was drafted like 56 by Utah. He hardly ever plays and I really expected more. Maybe if he was with a team that was not doing so well he would have a chance to prove himself. Hopefully things will only improve for him. It can't get too much worse. :no3:
I forgot to add a bunchPriest Luaderdale? Anyone remember this guy, he's now playing in Europe.Tony Delk-Another European now, he was a nice roley player for Boston in 01-02 and he would randomly have these games where he would be absolutely on and score 35 points +Adrian Griffin-The consumate role playerMauhmad Abdul-Rauf-Had some really great scoring years with the Nuggets when I was really young and I always rememberd his controversey by not standing during the national anthem. Him and the NBA worked out a deal where he would stand, but close his eyes and looked downward during the playing of the national anthem.Luc Longley-Absolute oaf, extrodinarily goofy.
Chris Webber in his Sacramento years. He was simply one of the most dominant players in the early 2000s. It's a shame that he was traded to Philly where he didn't have a role that he accepted.

You are talking about a superstar player that was one of the best in the entire league. This thread is for the role players that you like, players from a few years ago, players that may have never had successful careers but you still found yourself rooting for them. Not All-Stars.
I could mention about 30 different guys who currently play in the nba and have small or decent roles on different teams and say that there one of my favourite players randomly, I enjoy watching and following players that always put a lot of effort in night in and night out, like there style, talanted .. ETC, players that go out there and play the game of basketball I was a like to see.
Pat Garrity.Really stupid reason why, too. On NBA Live 2002, I asembled the Magic team of Tracy McGrady, Shaquille O'Neal, and none other Pat Garrity, of who led the team to glory. Thinking back on it is hilarious. However, I averaged 27 points a game with him, which is crazy.
Charles OakleyGreat rebounder and defender. Averaged about 10 and 10 in his career and though he wasnt a good scorer in the NBA, I always liked the way he played. He was SICK in college, 24 and 17 his last year I didnt know that. I like him because of how he played and because I had him in a sim league and is a monster for my team
