A lot of rappers rap about those things. But not in every single song like Lil Wayne.

IMO Lil Wayne has a few creative lines, but:1. He is Overrated-(in one poll on BET 89% thought he was the greatest rapper alive)2. Some of those "creative lines" don't even make sense when you really think about it lol3. He is the hottest sh*t rapper out right now. When Ja-Rule came out, and 50 just came out people where callin em the greatest rappers. It's just a lot of hype.4. What has Lil Wayne done to be called the greatest rapper of all time? Is he the best lyricist out there? That is very hard to believe, there are various other rappers with those "creative hooks"His album sales- Most of them have gone platinum, but only once, sh*t even most of Ja Rule's albums went 2 or 3 times platinum. And nobody calls him the greatest rapper alive anymoreIt's probably gonna happen with another artist in the upcoming years, and everyone will be ridin that artist. I don't hate lil wayne, but for people to be on him so much, really makes me think what people think makes a good song. Personally, I can't stand his voice, sounds so fucken annoying 2 meMy favorite rappers- 2pac, Papoose, Cassidy, Saigon, and Fabolous (his newest wasn't so great tho)

The only thing holding him back was he hasnt come out with a single since '99 until this year "the Truth". I cant wait until his CD comes out...If yall didnt know, hes the genius behind the souths version of Ether.."Triple bi*ch Mafia". I love Three 6...but that diss was pretty awesome...(he was a member of three 6 mafia at one point...just like every rapper from memphis was lol)Nobody Needs Nobody is seriously a legendary song he also came out with about 10 yrs ago...that still gets alotve radio time, I dont know one person from Memphis who doesn't love that song...Watchout the Nakia Shine too...hes going to be big soon...

Yeah, of course he is gonna go after him, because like I said before, he is the hottest artist out there right now. The artists rap about all of this, because it's what the majority of people like listening too: club bangers, and anthems. The majority of rappers do the same thing, so it's just oversaturated with the same things.

If Scrappy comes out with more stuff like Livin in the Projects...hes going to shoot up to top of my list with Infamous and Playa Fly.I think Nas pissed the south off pretty bad taking hits at us...so we're probably gonna see alot deeper songs from the south.

Rappers mostly do what Viacom and record companies tell them to do. They're minstrels. Gangster clowns. Who cares about a hit. Going gold is a ghetto hit. Triple platinum don't know what the hell they listening to. They getting manipulated by the market puppeteers.

It's one thing to say "hoe" or "b-tch" or whatever in a song or two. It's another thing to live off the topic exclusively - a vocabulary centerpiece. It's gotten very boring.
