I kicked in a Umair rhyme and then he took a shot at the Knicks - that's a no, no. Then GotSkillz got in it.

Its not contradiction mate, it was immature for the way I responded, but I said I was going to respond immaturely, I did it purposely and I stated that if you go back and look.

No they don't, at least not like people make fun of the Knicks, besides I didn't start a battle because someone made fun of him, like how MrsJ started a battle when I cracked on the Knicks.

Yup I've been waiting to battle MrJ, win or lose I still have diss material I planned on using on him that I didn't get a chance to use in the battle. Oh well, we'll prolly rematch eventually anyway.

Its kind of crazy this whole thing stemmed out of me liking Lil' Wayne. Even after I admitted to you guys that he wasn't that great (to me Wayne is nice NH), for some reason people still wanted to argue about it.In my opinion its gay to kiss a man on the mouth if you are a man yourself, but why would anybody care if two negros kissed each other on the mouth? There is a good chance Michael Jackson F's with little boys, does that take away from him as an entertainer? I don't believe it does. I still think Wayne is a nice rapper, but thats just my opinion. Don't agree with it or agree with it. Its not like Wayne is just a new fad rapper thats "in" like Dem Franchize Boyz or Yung Joc, 4 of his 5 albums are Platinum certified. No selling albums doesn't make you a good rapper, but obviously if you can sell somebody likes you. I gurantee you Air Fresh didn't cop nearly a million copies of Tha Carter II on his own.

With that being said, I'm done with the entire Wayne thing! I'm not riding his jock, saying its ok to kiss another man, none of that, I'ma a fan of his music and thats it.

On the other hand if you want to argue to me that Lupe Fiasco is garbage, I'm definitely willing to talk about it.

I guess it's kind of stupid that the Lil Wayne's reputation will probably be hurt more from the homo thing than R. Kelly's was when he pissed on an underage girl.

Time to be "immature" and speak my peice.

I don't know how Lil Wayne is a platinum artist but if he can become one, there's still hope for the 50 000 internet emcees out there that are better rappers than him.

I understand what he's saying in that line but it's not really a "standout" line...if that's what you think is one of his "standout" lines, then the rest of his rhymes must REALLY suck. I wonder what you think of rhymes by Big L and Big Pun if you think those kind of rhymes are actually standout ones.

I'm not hating on you, so chillax. I respect you defending Wayne as much as you're doing but dude clearly sucks lyrically. If he's a good verbal emcee or not, I don't know, because the only sh*t of him I've heard is some songs of his that I used to hear on TV before, and they sucked ass.

Edit: Just read that you're through with the Lil Wayne thing so I'll stop typing about it.

    Good day.

I just have a couple comments and I'm done, I'm not gonna argue about anything. You say he clearly sucks lyrically, but the only songs you've heard are the ones on TV. The big wheels line isn't really a stand out line, I just like the way he played with the words in that line.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">I guess it's kind of stupid that the Lil Wayne's reputation will probably be hurt more from the homo thing than R. Kelly's was when he pissed on an underage girl.</div>
I don't think his reputation will be hurt because people have been heard about this. Its just now that a picture finally came out people started talking about it again.

This thread is pretty much ruined with the whole Wayne thing though, we should lock this thread up and start a up another one.

I think liking Michael Jackson or R. Kelly is a little different. Michael Jackson is arguably the best artist ever. His Thriller album is a classic and is the best selling album of all-time with over 50 million copies sold. R. Kelly has been in the game for a long time and has made classic albums/songs.
