Trump and his cult say you're wrong and we know how intelligent they are.

And how do you get a conviction of someone who is clean as a whistle? I would think that the threat of a conviction must be based on something. Or is it a deep state thing?

I think it’s a cult for anyone feeling it’s perfectly normal for the FBI, the most powerful law enforcement agency in the world, able to violate people’s civil liberties because they violated their opponent.

    It’s really quite disgusting

It used to be something I really admired of the left. Civil Libertarians used to fight against shit like this. Now they applaud it. Sad

let me get this straight....some FBI agent said something possibly inappropriate about Flynn & the investigation. Other than that. is there any evidence the FBI acted out of malice?

does it have any bearing on the evidence that Mueller used against Flynn to derive a guilty plea? Is there any proof this tainted the investigation by Mueller? Is there any proof evidence was false?

clearly Flynn lied to the investigation. Any proof the FBI coerced the lies, and if there is, does that constitute misconduct?

Right. Law and order in the United States of America is a shining example to the world, as long as it somehow takes your political opponents down a peg.

So the problem with Flynn is not that he in fact lied and he clearly did, but instead how he was proven to be a liar.

Besides, from what I understand, the case is not only inactive, it's also well outside the statute oof limitations.

Welcome to trump world where the standards have been reduced to the level they are today. I guess I could say one thing I admired about the republicans was fiscal responsibility. Now we have over a trillion dollar debt and we aren't even close to funding this country appropriately.

Corporate/wealthy tax breaks didn't exactly help the deficit either.

From what I remembered reading, the Statute of limitations applies on first discovery. Meaning, the statute starts the moment investigation of that crime is in the works.

example: Hillary’s “Benghazi” possible crime has already passed statute of limitations because the discover of that crime was past that time frame. In the FBI case, there has never been a formal investigation of these crimes until last year.

Do you have any thing to back up that assertion as from how I understand statue of limitations it is from the date of the alleged crime.

An actual news source/outlet/article versus an anonymous tweet...hmmm, which one carries more weight?

He is showing the actual court documents. You can look them up for yourself: Case 1:17-cr-00232-EGS Document 189-1

Here, I can post them for you without the tweet. You don't need media when you can actually view the actual court docs.

No need, I'm familiar...I just find it odd how your stance on unsubstantiated articles changes from thread to thread depending on whether you're defending Trump or trying to destroy Biden.

But I'm confident there will either be a denial or more likely, another spin....hey, maybe both.

This isn't "unsubstantial" these are actual documents from the FBI investigation files. About as black and white as you can get.

Even if the FBI did every bad thing you can possibly imagine, murdered thousands of people, ate babies, etc., and you manage to get the conviction overturned on those grounds, Flynn still actually committed treasonous acts. He's still a douchebag traitor even if the legal system sets him free.

That's not what I said and the fbi document was not what I was referring to.
