Personnel people don't give a shit about that kind of thing. GMs study tape, not small sample statistics when they evaluate a player and what they might contribute to their team. I'm sure every team in the league has a book on Leonar_.

Yeah its going to be interesting. Most players who get picked for the all star game will remain on the same team but there will be some trades...i wonder what the rules are aroynd that. If a guy gets picked for the west all stars and gets traded to the east does he still get to play in the all star game for the east? How will they determine substitute players should a chosen player get traded.

IMHO, Leonard at 10M/yr on the bench as a 5th big (and make no mistake, a rebounding-and-3pt C is exactly the type of player that, if motivated, could help us) is way more of a fit with our current roster AND where we think we want to be in 2 years than ET. I like ET personally, and I wonder what it would take BOS giving up to get him back. Stevens loves him. He just didn't love him at 17M/yr. And now that they have Tatum and Brown I don't know how much Stevens cares about ET anymore.

Boston doesn't have salary to trade for him and anything that'd match salary would involve them giving up better players. They're not going to trade for Turner.

Nikola Mirotic played well tonight. Should the Blazers be interested?

Of course. Actually fits the system. Flexibile contract (team option after this year)

Chicago should be developing Markkanen instead of giving minutes to someone that won’t be there for more than another year. Some kind of package involving Harkless could work.

Speaking of showcasing... Great job by Evan Turner tonight!!!

How fortuitous that he had his best game as a Blazer while playing in the Central Time Zone when all the Eastern Conference GMs, who likely remember Turner as a useful player from his days in Boston, could catch the game before turning in for the night.

Neil needs to be on the phone with every Eastern Confetence GM first thing in the morning and not give up until Turner is moved.

He always seems to play better against the Eastern Conference teams. It's not just style of play and quality of competition, he just seems to get up more for those games.

Not sure if it's because he is playing in front of family and friends, because he wants to get traded to an Eastern Conference team, or if it's just a reawakening of past playoff rivalries against teams like the Bulls and Cavs. Probably all of the above.

Ok Neil, Evan did his job. Now do yours!

GMs do more research than watching one game and assuming that's who a player is...

Too obvious, thus too expensive. A GM should be expert at finding undervalued hidden nuggets.

Do I really need to go back and edit my post to change the font color?

Did you ever find out if @swish3 has discovered how to change your default font style? If so, maybe I should make my default green. Then I'd only need to change it when I'm not being sarcastic.

I read your post then, and still do upon rereading it now, as sincere = nonsarcastic. Every sentence is either obviously or probably true. Read it again:
