Ah yes, the ubiquitous pre-season, "working out hard, never looked better" article. Hope it's actually true.
So Felton is excited to be in Portland. What else is he suppose to say? I wonder if there ever been a PG traded to a team to be the starting PG that has said something different?
Compared to the situation he was in with the Nugs and factor in it's a contract year I'm sure he's very happy to be here.
Probably, although I'm guessing no matter where he was traded to he would say taht. Miller is quoted as saying he is happy to be back in Denver. Ty Lawson, when asked what he though about Miller coming to Denver said he was . . . . excited. "I'm excited that Andre is coming. He's a great player. And Nuggets president Kroenke had this to say about Miller : "We're excited to have Andre back," I think everyone is just excited . . .
I posted many months ago that whenever an interview starts to get depressing, a smart player/coach/trainer uses the word "exciting" in the very next sentence to uplift the mood. Like, Quick: Do you think Brandon might be back in a week? Have you seen Greg? Answer: You can never count out Brandon. Greg last made his monthly visit 2 months ago and he looked great. I'm excited about our prospects. Or maybe to a rookie. Quick: Did you learn any basketball at Nevada? Are you a total dumbshit? Can you name 3 Blazers, past or present? Rookie: There is a fine, fine history here, and I'm just excited to part of it all.
