I think I will be more happy reading the news Nate is finally leaving PDX for good than making the playoffs. That's how badly I want him gone. I wish management got rid of him last summer.

Maybe Felton starting is what Crawford was referring to on Twitter earlier. I mean, who isn't surprised that Felton is suddenly starting again? Dude has been complete, utter garbage. It's shocking that we just haven't waived him. Cut our losses and move along.

    "Showcasing" him for a trade?

Yeah, right. The more he plays, the more his value drops. Oh well, at least he's an expiring contract...

My post says nothing about showcasing Felton for a trade. Because, like you, I believe that putting Felton on the floor does more to harm his trade value.

On second thought.... can he be any worse? If he does anything well, it could cause a mini-spike in value, thereby netting the Blazers a 2nd rounder or "other considerations".

Felton just needs to string together a few good games in a row for some team to decided to take a chance on him.

"He is a proven commodity that didn't work in Nate's system" . . . need a few GM's thinking this way.

What's been shocking is how completely shitty the defense has been without Felton in the starting line-up.

Basically, the entire PG situation right now is a shit sandwich. It's too bad the Blazers can't do the old girls' basketball rule where one player stays on the offensive end of the court (Crawford), while another plays defense (Felton).

I think the quotes from Nate make it seem that this decision is coming from above Nate. I mean, he said, "we brought him in to be a starter."

I'm beginning to think that Nate is actively trying to get fired at this point. Calling out the team for not caring, putting Felton back in the starting line-up for no apparent reason, players going to the media to bitch about him ... seems to me he's had enough of the insane asylum known as Paul Allen's Portland Trail Blazers.

Happy trails, Nate, and I hope your next work experience is better than this Comedy of Errors.

Stupid coach for putting Felton back in starting line up

    or

Stupid coach for taking Felton out of starting line up to begin with

Playing against Nola isn't a sign that you made the right choice. YMCA scrubs could beat them. Wait until this road trip. Wait until we see failton at it again.

Man, want the old positive MAGS back.

This. At all costs, don't fuck with your only PG's head.

I'm sorry, once Failton is gone, I think I will be much happier. I'm tired of us having a turn over prone, can't shoot for shit, can't make a layup Failton! Once he is gone and possibly Nate, you will have the old Mags. I'm just frustrated right now. This team pisses me off because we are better than this.
