Carmelo was on fire out there. Anyone catch the Kidd off-the-backboard alley-oop to Lebron? It was 100-50 at one point. Yowza

I have watched the last 2 USA games and I have to admit theyre pretty boring, after the first half I lose interest because none of the games are even close!! Anyone else feel the same way about the last 2 games?

I was watching the DreamTeam the other day, that was so exciting. Every score would be a dunk or something crazy.

It was very fun to watch!

Uh-oh. We're playing that same crappy offense everytime they make a shot. Why hasn't Coach K fixed the offense yet?

You have to imagine that Argentina, even withotu Nocioni, Manu, and Oberto could still take Team USA and beat them in this tournament.

Coach K needs to fix that offense instead of sitting on his ass.

Looks like Prince may have blown out his knee.

EDIT: Prince has a sprained ankle. Nice acting job drama queen with the dramatic holding of your knee!

Anyone else watching the game? I swear Lawrence Frank must be coaching us, what with the "give the ball to lebron, hold your nuts, and hope you win" iso fest thats going on.

Like I've been saying, Coach K has done a horrible job with this team. It looks no different from last years sets offensively.

People were like, hey its all good and fine, we're blowing out the great Virgin Islands, Venezuela, and Canada!

Brazil is just a middle of the road team as well. This team is very vulnerable to lose to Argentina or Spain.

They've gone through that lull, and low and behold its because of a more fluid offense. 30 point lead. oh boy

Wow this is just miserable. Brazil has given up, more or less. Shot clock violation, USA ball...

Well Coach K is the coach, we shot 25 threes so far, and the offense looks like it hasnt changed...Sounds like Duke to me.

K is a good coach and all, but he has a system he runs and I havent seen him wander far from that system at Duke or in international play. That is the price you pay for having him as the coach.

As long as we keep blowing teams out though, I don't care how it gets done

The problem though, is that I believe Canada at 16th ranked, is the best team we've faced so far. Basically the best team we played would be the worst team in the actual olympics.

All the teams we've played so far have been horrible. It works here because the talent difference is so huge. But come olympic time, it won't work that easily ,and we should be preparing for when it won't be this easy.

They spent some time during the broadcast debunking that list. Brazil, for instance, is something like 17th. Hell, at last year's olympics we were number 1.
