Top 100...probably not. (Although I think the 20-year-old Jovic can turn out to be more effective than the 28-year-old Christian Wood who was rated at #92 in the ESPN ranking last year)

But if we do trade Grant at the deadline, Jovic is not a bad replacement. I have been searching for a decent young 4 that might be available and it is not that easy to find one. No one is giving up young 4s that are 2 way players.

I have said from the start that we won't be happy with the return for Dame. Nothing has changed my mind. We would still need something in return for Herro (and picks) .......but Jovic and JJjr both have the potential to be solid rotational players.

However, I am all for holding out for that one starter that we all covet in the trade.

I think Canada, Germany, or AUS could beat the USA. Maybe Spain too… I don’t think the US are a lock even though they are favorites.

    SGA has been on one.

IMO, Canada should probably be the favorites.

I don't think so. The US is too deep. Nobody will beat them in this tournament.

Agreed, although they, like everybody else, don't have the depth the US has. The US bench, if it was a separate team, would certainly medal.

Huh, I guess Josh Hart really helps a team. Seems like a player you'd want

Yeah me too. Every team needs a Josh Hart. Too bad he wanted out of Portland.

I love players like him that you don’t need to run a play for. Just let them get after it. Jerome Kersey, Gary Trent Jr. And I feel Thybulle is like that.

One of my favorite Blazer players to watch in recent years. Trading him away for a late pick was the official end to the Lillard era.

I wonder if Lillard talk to Cronin to not trading Hart. Wonder if Lillard seen Hart as valuanle piece to contender...

I wish all the best for Hart, but I'd like to see USA losing to someone, so next time NBA team win NBA championship, they can writer "World Champions (sans Germany)".

Lillard should have talked to Hart's wife and convinced them to want to stay here

So, Serbia played their first game against serious team - Italy. Nicola was 1/6 (1/5 for 3).

Is "Is he good enough for you, Blazers" still relevant?

It does not look like he is a wonder kid, that Doncic or even Rubio was in Europe.

So Herro, Jovic and picks for Lillard is like Ant, Kris and picks for Butler.

Wow--can't decide if Brazil beating Canada is a bigger upset than Latvia over Spain. Bruno Caboclo seemingly single-handedly powered them to that win.

I think USA could only see Canada in the finals now.

I would think that if Canada beats Spain and Latvia beats Brazil, Canada would still finish first in their group (by virtue of their stage 1 win over Latvia).

Seriously, can we sign Caboclo? He'd be a starter for us
