I have another option. I shall be contacting you shortly.

Meet my agent on the corner of Mitford, and Straton. Don't make eye contact. Tell him, "How is the weather in Derby?". He shall give you the goods. Leave with haste, and don't look back. Catch the #9 bus into town, and catch the next train to Waterloo station. There, you will be escorted to the safe house. Good luck, Roger Reading.

FM = Eff Emm = Flem = In Mouth = Tongue = Rolls off the Tongue

Conclusion: FM rolls off the tongue.

I just had a fairly good away result against Reading.

This gives me a six match winning streak, and moves me up the 3rd.

My second game of the Champions League. I'm in Group D and I've been drawn with Marseille, Werder, and Salzburg. I held Werder to a 2-1 victory at their stadium, and I just made fools of Marseille. All of my players had a fantastic game. Vaart picked up a slight knock in the Reading game, so he had to sit it out. Rosicky filled his role superbly, and scored two goals, and hit the upright twice. Eduardo had another fantastic performance taking his goal tally to 11 in all competitions. He scored two on the night. Adebayor also got on the scoresheet, and Bendtner scored in the dying moments. Niang and Nasri both scored for Marseille, but it wasn't enough to stop my young guns. Akinfeev had great game too. He denied Niang multiple times, and even saved a penalty.

My next game (EPL) was against one of my rivals, West Ham. Before the game, there was a little bit of cheeky banter between Curbishley and I. I simply said my team was superior to the Hammers.

We got off to a flying start. Rosicky threw in a sumptuous corner and Eduardo clipped the upright denying his 5th goal in the EPL. His chance would come though when he was pulled down in the box by Noble. He converted the penalty with ease leaving Green dumbfounded. Not much else happened the rest of the game. We kept pushing, and Green kept producing fantastic saves. West Ham had one or two chances, but other than that, we dominated the run of play. The only thing that tainted the result was the sending off of Edu (West Ham), and a torn hamstring for Van der Vaart. He'll be out for around three months, but Rosicky has been filling his AMC roll heroicly.

Final score, 1-0. This brings me to 2nd in the Premiership, behind the defending champions, United. I am currently on a eight match winning streak. My tactics and formation are working wonders.

My next game is against Tottenham in the EPL. I am missing a huge chunk of 1st team players.

    Missing Players:

    Van der Vaart
    (injury)
    Rosicky (injury)
    Gallas (injury)
    Eboue (injury)
    Adebayor (international duty)

I've gone for a my defensive 4-1-4-1. Clichy, Sagna, Djourou, and Toure in the back, Gilberto as my DM, Walcott and Quaresma on the flanks, Fabregas and Diaby in the centre, and Eduardo up front by himself. I will put Bendtner on later.

I dug out FM07 and was playing it for about 1 1/2 hours. One thing i always do is sell all the players that aren't there.
    Outs:
    Henry > AC MIlan > £25,000,000
    Hleb > Inter Milan > £10,000,000
Gilberto > Real madrid > £8,000,000 amongst others.

I actually had a £32,000,000 bid from Chelsea for Henry but didn't accept it.

    IN:
    Ustari > Getafe > £5,500,000
    Kompany > HSV > £8,000,000
    Vanden Borre > Anderlecht > £6,200,000
    Cambiasso > Inter > £12,000,000
    Ronaldo > Man Utd > £28,000,000
    Villa > Valencia > £13,000,000

Anyway my Arsenal team after much Tinkereing, I cba to Screenshot it

    Ustari
    Eboue----Toure----Kompany----Vanden Borre

    Cambiasso
    Rosicky------------------------------Ronaldo
    Fabregas

    Villa----------Van Persie

    My Arsenal Team so far.

    Thoughts?

Pretty good so far, but you should purchase Steven Defour and Moussa Dembélé before they take off. I personally wouldn't be bothered reinstalling FM07 or 08 when 09 is only a week or so away.

I can understand that. It is true though that you Brits are mighty screwed when it comes to Football Manager. You pay like £40, while here in the States the exact same game with a different name is only $30 brand new. Why don't you just import the game from the United States?
