    It was an absolute cracker of a goal!

    I think we mostly have ourselves to blame for the loss. Defenders were ball watching for the first goal, leaving the English player unmarked. Defender should have cleared the ball for the second goal, but mucked up. The wrong defender stepped up for the third goal, and opened up the hole to pass through, it was exactly what the English attacker wanted. But that’s soccer, a handful of small mistakes will cost you matches. We still did really well, and captured the hearts of the nation. The Australia v England match was the highest rating TV event on Australian TV since 2001.

    For those who don’t know, Messi is dominating with Miami. Maybe that’s why Dame wants to go to Miami… So he can kick it with the GOAT.
