via the NY Post The fisticuffs began just after 9 p.m., when a female fan complained to a loud man in his early 20s about his repeated use of the f-word during the first set. At one point, she slapped the young man across the face during the verbal confrontation. lmao now that I watch it with sound.. I hate them both more. But I do hope the old bastards hip is broke.
There is a rail right past the gray shirt guy, so he wasn't getting security. He clearly took a swing at him with the left hand. Funny how everyone gets mad at gray shirt guy after he gets slapped and hit. If he was using profanity then talk to security... but seriously... there were no kids there so who cares? Now I have been to sporting events with my kids and I get pissed when people are cussing... but accosting them wouldn't help.
Here's the aftermath: Eventually, the US Open fight ended with all three participants being led off in handcuffs. They were not actually arrested, but they were banned from attending any tennis matches in Flushing Meadows for three years. Although they are not in any trouble from the police, the participants are now out to hurt each other in court. The three are filing civil harassment lawsuits against each other, not long after the evidence of their US Open fight hit YouTube.
The older couple is playing a dangerous game. From what I can tell, the younger guy could file assault charges on both of them. Not very smart.
I think its just you. If you watch the video in the first post, you can hear the kick and see the leg motion from the old guy. That's when the young guy gets up and then the old man starts swinging. If he was just trying to get by, he was certainly doing so aggressively and got what was coming to him.
