The Raps will win, I guarentee it...We just have so much more depth than Jew Jersey, and no one will be able to stop Chris Bosh and Andrea...TJ Ford will be ready to go too, along with Anthony and the other vets..

And Baron should get more respect this season.I also think Magic can put up a harder fight against DET then SOME MIGHT THINK. (But of course I don't think Magic have enough to beat DET.)</div>You're a complete dumbass. Do you think we just magically got 47 wins this year? No, we're a good team this year; a better team than the Nets.
My predictionsLos Angeles in 6Houston in 7Dallas in 6San Antonio in 7EastPistons in 7Cavs in 4Raps in 7Bulls in 7
WestSuns in 6Jazz in 7Golden State in 7 :shifty2:  it could happenSA in 6EastPistons in 5 Cavs in 6Nets in 6Bulls in 7
All the Western Conference matchups are awesome, and there are a couple decent ones in the East as well (Heat/Bulls will be great, and Raptors/Nets should be nice). The one matchup I'm really looking forward to is Houston/Utah though. Although Utah is the higher seed, Houston will have homecourt advantage due to having the better record. My first round picks:(1) Detroit vs. (8) Orlando(2) Cleveland vs. (7) Washington(3) Toronto vs. (6) New Jersey(4) Miami vs. (5) Chicago --- on the fence, could go either way(1) Dallas vs. (8) Golden State(2) Phoenix vs. (7) L.A Lakers(3) San Antonio vs. (6) Denver(4) Utah vs. (5) Houston

Wow CB4, how could you possibly guarantee that the Raptors will win? Name me one thing that the Raptors have a advantage on besides Bosh. Just break down the lineup:Jason Kidd > TJ FordVince Carter >Anthony ParkerRichard Jefferson > Joey GrahamJason Collins < Chris BoshMikki Moore = Andrea Bargnani Our big three are going to run all over you guys and kill you, especially Carter. Kidd is going to do what ever he wants with Ford. And I know your going to argue the Bargnani = Moore, but if you see how good hes playing you would understand. Plus you have to put into account playoff experience, which goes to us by far. Not to mention how Carter is going to play extra hard to kill you guys. So please tell me with all this how you GUARANTEE you will win.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (LakersFan247 @ Apr 19 2007, 01:11 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>The playoffs look very exciting this year...can't wait. Is their any specific date yet on when the first game will be? I heard something like Sunday?</div>I know two teams play Saturday, like the Pistons and Magic and I believe Nets and Toronto? I'm not sure, I know four East teams play Saturday and the others play Sunday. I'm not to sure on the West yet. But I agree, it looks really exciting and I can't wait to tip things off. I really wanna see Houston against Utah because Houston has their players back and ready to go[Tracy and Yao that is] and Utah finally got things going with Williams and Loozer is 100 percent for their run. Should be great.
(1) Detroit vs. (8) Orlando(2) Cleveland vs. (7) Washington(3) Toronto vs. (6) New Jersey - This was a hard one for me, I'll be rooting for Kidd but I think Raps take it.(4) Miami vs. (5) Chicago (1) Dallas vs. (8) Golden State(2) Phoenix vs. (7) L.A Lakers(3) San Antonio vs. (6) Denver(4) Utah vs. (5) Houston - Probably alone on this one besides the Jazz fans. I told melo I'd be rooting for Utah and I'm sticking by it.

Oh yeah, we have homecourt advantage. Now Thats not my my arguement, but Vince Carter wont play stellar because hes playing 'extra hard' and Anthony Parker will do a good job on him.Wrong Again. First thing Bargnani is not a starter Rasho is. But Then Again:Lets look at your bench:Marcus Williams < Jose CalderonAntoine Wright < Juan DixonBostjan Nachbar < Andrea BargnaniJosh Boone < Kris HumphriesH. Adams < Morris PetersonI didnt really look at the matchups position to position because I dont know all of the Nets rotations, but you get the idea, our bench kills yours, end of story.

You guys have no big men at all, and you will be dominated by Chris Bosh.....yeah...also, we have better chemistry, and we are just the better team...um hum...Carter is a f*cking pussy. I wouldn't be surprised if he shits his pants when he hears the crowd at the ACC...We are going to f*cking murder him...sig bet?

But I still think Nets can sweep, but I that be hard I say Net's will win it though.

He hasnt played the last 2 weeks or something and I dont think he is coming back. And that shows how much you know, hes not our best bench player. Nachbar (dont know if I spelled his name right) is the best by far. He is playing so good the last month. And so what if you have depth, that doesn't mean just because you have that your going to win. And yeah I stated Bosh will kill us, but thats just one guy. We are playing as a team now and have been together much longer then your Raptors, so we have way better chemistry. I wouldn't be suprised if you sh*t in your pants when your Raptors lose and Carter is rubbing it in your face. And your on for the sig bet.
Nets will win the series in 7. Why? Becuase New Jersey has been playing great basketball in April, they flew under the radar but got up to play Toronto. Toronto has no answer for VC/RJ/Jkidd, when healthy that trio is deadly and very hard to stop. The raps dont have nearly the same experience that New Jersey does or the same amount of veterans who know the game. I'm not saying Raptors don't have a chance but the key to the series is who dominates the first few games.

If we lose, it wont hurt us as bad as it will Toronto. We are experienced so we will know how to handle our selfs. Toronto on the other hand might panic and blow game 2 also. Game 1 is HUGE, I cannot wait. Just so you know it seems like I'm the only Nets fan on this board lol. I don't hate the Raptors at all. I really like there team and I love Bosh, he is amazing. I really like Ford and Andrea Bargnani also. No hard feelings.
