This has my vote. And let's think bigger. We could even find a way to make this catch some local fire and put some branding on the forum. @BonesJones we need a trueblazerfan video highlighting the how well our bench is playing, whilst simultaneously splashing the Rip City Two name thereabout while calling the starters Rip City One. Then, tweet this shit to Dame, CJ, ET, et all.
Ima Donkey. Nothin More Nothin Less. Ima Champion Donkey Doh. Yo Just Jealous Of My Champion Style! I Could Be OB Doh. "OahweSome Being?" Dat's Hard For Dis Donkey To Say.
For years, I had associated "red rocket" with slang for a dog's erection. (hi Sly!) Then Chris Paul joined Houston, and it just seemed like awesome symetry.
Odd statistical observation (and interpolation): Turner is 49-88 (.557) from 2, but 4-20 (.200) from 3 (no surprise there). Curry is 8-29 (.276) from 2, but 16-32 (.500) from 3. If all Turner's 3's were taken by Curry, and all Curry's 2's were taken by Turner, and hit at their same average rates, the Blazers would be averaging 2.6 more points per game on the year. Conclusion: Turner should never shoot 3's, and Curry should ONLY shoot them. Can someone make this happen?
I know it's for defense, but at the end of the game it makes zero sense offensively to have Turner in the game with Dame and CJ if Dame is handling the ball. Down the stretch last night Turner was just standing on the 3 point line wide open. I wish he would pull a Ben Simmons and just refuse to shoot a 3 even if wide open.
Turners one of those guys who once in a blue moon makes a 3 and then decides its ok to shoot some more.
