One guy I'd really love to get is Kyle Anderson. 3 years in Pop's system, you know he's learned how to play the right way, and stuck behind Kawhi, he's not going to get the opportunity to shine that he probably deserves. However, he's cheap and effective, so I don't see the Spurs giving him up easily.
I can't believe Troy Williams was available just now and we didn't sign him. I remember him playing very good defense against us. Like Aminu on a much cheaper contract. Fuck the Rockets.
Bulls are really high on Portis as they should be. He's going to be really good in this league and Bulls trading Gibson will open up a lot of time for him to show the Bulls in the trust they have for him.
I really like bobby portis. Knowing tater totts though, his potential would be completely wasted here.
Yeah, I wasn't really asking that seriously. I'd be shocked if Portis (or Anderson for that matter) were made available. Interesting to me that Noah showed up in my query. Gives me hope that maybe he really is the PF we're looking for. Yes, I'm easily self-deluded.
Anyone know much about Richaun Holmes? Appears to be putting up decent numbers as a backup PF in Philly. Perhaps someone to take a look at tonight?
I liked him in the draft. But they're keeping him - he was part of the reason they were ready to give up on Noel. Reminds me of Uncle Cliffy a LOT. The guy not getting minutes whom they might not love so much (especially now they've got Justin Anderson) is Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot, another guy I liked in the draft. But he sort of duplicates Harkless and isn't all that much younger.
