wait a minute though. If I said the same thing would I be pushing a pro-olshey agenda? Kill the messenger? (and I hate Jaynes...he was canzano before canzano)

just because Cronin may be a terrible GM doesn't mean olshey is any better. I suppose some people might look at it that way but is would be an idiot's view of the world

Absolutely. I’d trade him right now. He’ll be on the decline soon and I don’t see us putting a contender around him anytime soon

People don't realize, you can love a player and root for him on a team that actually gives him a shot at contending. That won't be us.

Love the team. Not a player. Want what is best for the team. Sometimes that means splitting up.

LOL...yeah, after the recent trade Cronin is definitely the GM you want trading Dame away

I don't disagree with that. Fire cronin in the offseason and get a legit GM to do it.

Dont you guys think there is a plan in place, that has alternative routes based on what happens next week and off-season?
Most corporation use 1-3-5 year plan with quantifiable step criteria.
If it doesn't go well with Joe another GM will come in stir us up. He may very well trade Dame and take a total rebuild approach or maybe he will ask for favors from other teams and reload?

Bro....you tell everyone to move on. You are telling people to stop bitching about the trade. We can post whatever we want. You can tell people to move on as much as you want. Just like we can complain about one of the worst trades the NBA has seen in awhile.

That doesn't explain away that we gave talented players away for basically free.

Because you keep telling everyone to move on.

We don't have to. You can spin it anyways you want but this trade was horrendous.

    Keep doing you though.

I'll go watch the 77 title on Youtube to make myself feel better. Thanks Riverman.

And you don't know why we made the trade either? and I wasn't explaining why because I d0n't know.
I do know that the direction now is to build around one of the best players in franchise history and Im glad they are going to give it a shot.

I think we will have a very long Summer in Blazerland. We’ll surely find out how Dame feels about the shape of the team and if he cares to remain or if he’d rather move on!

If CJ and Nurk go, Dame’s only remaining friend is Blevins :)

I don't have to know what Joe Cronin was thinking to know he gave up the two best players in the trade for minimal assets.

Uh huh. People complaining about the team must mean we have degenerate gamblers around here!

Mick and many others have been a part of this community far before you even got here. This is the worst i've ever seen these longtime posters have felt about this team. And it definitely is not because they gamble.

    My goodness!!!
The overvalueing (is that a word?) of RoCo and Powell is, to me, an absolute joke.
Ya'll act like we gave away Meadowlark Lemon and Curly Neal.
Two guys, although starters, have their picture, in my dictionary next to the word: "meh"...

99% of people would agree you are wrong.

I was just saying in context, which you don't have, there doesn't have to be some unknown reason like gambling that causes people to be upset with the team. If many of these posters that have been here for decades are upset with the direction....maybe. JUST MAYBE, it is because the direction of the team currenty sucks. As evidenced by our horrible trade.

You can hate on Norm and Roco all you want, but none of the players that came from the Clippers are better. That is a fact.

That IS NOT a fact it IS your opinion..
Here's mine: From what I saw last night, Justice Winslow is better than either RoCo or Powell.
And that isn't all that hard to do.

Hey look everyone. We have a giant homer.

Saying Winslow is better than Roco or Norm is absolutely hilarious.

Where is Ashton Kutcher? Am I being Punk'd?
