QUOTE (Black Republican)

Frank and Thorn are part time lovers.

thank you for your meaningful contribution to this thread.

Fire Frank...
Why? because he doesnt develop young players, he doesn't set a rotation, and his game planning seems suspect.
To elaborate on the reality that he doesnt develop young players the facts are that Nenad Kristic only got to were he was pre injury because after we traded Kmart and later Alonzo Mourning, Erik Williams and Aaron Williams to the Raptors we were left with Collins, Nenad and I think Jabari Smith. Due to the fact we had nobody Frank finally gave the kid minutes...and he then he proved to be the best big man on the roster. Personally I feel that if we hadn't traded all those guys Nenad would've never developed. Similar to Antione Wright who has looked good in every summer league but has never been given CONSISTENT playing time. Suddenly he's showing development when given real minutes.
Here's the dilema...if we retain Frank does it hurt the chances that Marcus, Josh Boone, and Sean Williams reach there full potential or even Nenad regain his form if Frank stays consistent with his pattern of giving these young developing players inconsistent minutes? I think it does...fire frank.
Also one of the reasons I personally think we've struggled is that we don't have chemistry on the court due to the inconsistent rotations and Frank's inability to match players to there strengths...ie Collins on court vs athletic big men...just doesnt work.

Deck chairs. Titanic. Deck chairs. Titanic. Deck chairs. Titanic.
The scary thing about Thornski is that they're still probably better than half the GMs in the league. It makes no sense to fire them if we're just going to hire Kevin McHale.
I say we try and trade Kidd to the Raptors for Calderon and Brian Colangelo.

Jamaal was an all star caliber player. He has somehow lost all of his post offense, so that comparison is now invalid. Still a better rebounder than Collins.

Marbury isthe only one who wasall-star on the Knicks.
Are you a NBA fan? I don't think you realize NBA.
4. Jefferson is averaging 25 points a game and is the top 4 scorer in the NBA. Magloire could contribute, you give him six straight DNP , how can he show his All-star talent? OK, You might say he showed he sucked, but how can you not keep giving him the minutes to show ? It's a long season, not playoff series. Just like Carter, he was playing badly at the begin of the season, but he's showing he is great right now.
5. Excuse me, Magloire already showed very much that he wants to help this team, and he doesn't complain that he gets the DNP ! Frank just started him for 2 games without Carter, and when Magloire played against the Heat, he showed he is a solid down-low defender. Why not to try play him with the big three and Sean Williams? Then he got 6 straight or more DNPs, is this a good coach? He is not a good coach, he likes to bench and kill the young players' confidence. If Magloire really plays badly, but when we are going to the playoffs, sorry, if you only play Malik Allen and Jason Collins as your main power, this team has no hope, at least, Magloire is the toughest guy between them.
6. It's the truth, you are harming this team by your stupid suggestion and logic.
If you are right, this team should be good, not just as bad as knicks.

1. What did you say in the other thread? You said in this post that they are below being mediocre. I find that ridiculous. You were just overreacting.
2. You compared our offense to the sixers, when in reality the Sixers offense actually runs smoothly, and they are known as a offensive-minded team. I didnt say the Nets were a good defensive team.
3. On the Bulls Ben is an allstar, Gordan is a borderline allstar(wasnt he selected last year?), as is Luol Deng(not selected but he is borderline, at least last year). The Knicks have two allstar calibur players(Marbury and Randolph) plus a center who is dominant in the paint(Curry). You must not have much NBA knowledge if you think Randolph isnt an allstar talent. And to whoever said Magloire was an allstar talent and had a good post game-wrong. He was never an allstar TALENT. He was selected but he wasnt an allstar calibur player. his post game was average and it deterioted over the years.
4. Jefferson is a borderline allstar. Remember how he played when Carter was gone? His production and decision-making got worse. His stats are nice but he isnt a true allstar talent. He might get selected though, but he isnt truly on the same level as allstar level wings(Pierce, LeBron, Melo, Marion, McGrady, Allen, etc). I already explained Magloire in point #3, and as stated before in many threads, he should get playing time over Malik Allen.
5. I never said he complained, but instead i said that he showed very little in the playing time he got, including the starts. When he played, he hurt the team more than he helped. Your idea of playing the big 3, Sean, and Magloire is actually bad. Replace Collins with Magloire and then you have a lineup that uses Collins most effectively, plus you would then have an enforcer come off the bench in Magloire, and a jumpshooting big man in Krstic, giving a good 1-2 bench to pick up the bench production. And as I said again and again, Magloire should be getting Malik's minutes and Frank's rotations have been bad.
6. You mind actually proving that instead of making baseless accusations. When have Boone, Marcus, or Magloire complained about Frank making them feel down. Marcus is freaking injured right now and Boone is getting minutes because he EARNED them. Magloire's minutes were gone because he played like crap. The 6 DNP's are a message to magloire-get the freaking act together or else no minutes. However, even though I agree is sending the right message, Allen has been playing worse and thus he should be the one in the doghouse, not Magloire.
7. I cant say bye to someone who says they give up on this team? Please. I can say what I want. If you dont want a "bye", then dont give up on the team through the rough times and look at the team and its players realistically.
8. The stupidity in your comment is amazing. Again, its possible to have a different opinion. Care to explain how the hell me talking on a message board harms the team? And I have said in another thread that this team should rebuild. PS: When did I ever say they were as bad as the Knicks? The Knicks are so crappy, toilet seats sprout legs and run away.
