Aiight I feel like I’m ranting but this game was straight up lost when Melo and Kanter checked in the third. I’m so sick of this shit man. If idiots like myself can see what the issue is, why can’t the guy getting paid

Two road tests and we get destroyed in both contests. Both games filled with inconsistent effort, terrible stretches of defense (Clippers Q1, Jazz Q3), and overall gave the fans little hope that this team is going to get better.

That Utah game was as winnable as it gets -- Utah without Clarkson and coming home after going to OT the previous night in Phoenix -- and it was another blowout.

That is the thing. Have had no realistic hope in this team for a while. When they were younger, there was hope they were going to grow and get better. But they plateaued at a mediocre level....and it's tough to find hope with the current roster/scheme/coach.

Is there any reason to not just stop this bleeding? I think we still got nice roster and we still can do some damege in playoffs. We got no coach anyway, so adding the new one can only help.

Just tank the rest of the year, get rid of Stotts, Melo, CJ, Collins and Nurk in the offseason. Try again next year.

Not sure bout that. What am afraid of, he might be too much of an insider. I think we need some completely from outside.

this is a fear for me also, but look at how much our defense cratered since he left for minny. he's sufficiently disparate from idiot terry.

I mean that’s a fair way to look at it, but when he was in charge of our defense we were a lot better, I think we were top 10 the year before he left. And who knows what his offensive philosophies are, they might be more creative than Terry’s. And he has Dames trust, which is pretty important too.

I'd like to see it, but am not willing to spend 20 minutes trying to find it.

Stotts is a people manager, an ego manager. He's not a coach. There is no strategy involved. Just keep his people as happy as he can.

    This fucker is so clueless.

At one point in the third today, Stotts rotated 3-4 people in a manner of about 3 minutes while we were getting killed. He tried Nas at SG, then took him out and put Powell back in. When Powell checked in, DJ pointed at himself like "oh, you want me to go out?". Then he also put CJ back in at the end. At no point did he event think about taking Melo out, who seems to be immune to any sort of repercussions of playing bad, lazy etc.

What kind of example does this even set for the young guys? Work hard, but hey, this guy in front of you has immunity so nothing you can do actually get you on the floor over him.

I can’t believe Stotts just threw Jones under the bus like that just so he can be a smart ass, what a piece of shit.
