Agree that Stotts threw DJJ under the bus but I’ll add that Kanter should have started over Nurkic for a bit too.

DJJ needs to be starting over Powell. ACTUALLY, Powell needs to be starting over CJ - but that’s a whole other story.

Stotts is a nice guy. Not a coach! We won’t win a ring until we hire a real coach. Tonight’s loss was a coaxing loss as was the Clipper loss.

We need to send more dumb quotes and video from Stotts being dumb to the mainstream media. Not every one realized he’s dumb. I have and will always be filled with hatred toward this guy

I mean Jody needs to fire Olshey right now. Because this guy is blind apparently. He cannot understand he is employing a clown.

So we can probably guess that Jones and Norm will be gone after this year. No way they come back if Stotts is still here.

and in return players (at least main guys) like him and that makes his job safe

ive said already, this franchise is happy being just a playoff team and even 1st round exit is fine, just make the playoffs and thats it... thats competitive team, that sells tickets, merchandise etc

It was without a doubt a pretty pathetic answer.
Lets just take the pro Stotts side for instance. Seriously a bunch of us including myself made statements about the defense for most of the season saying things like "They are down 3 starters" and "Jones and Roco can't do it all themselves".
So now they have CJ and Nurk back and have added a competent player in Powell he wants to come back with that?
Seriously Stotts is making it pretty hard at this point to back him.
I'm not an NBA coach at any level. Kjironman is just a fan!!! But i can tell you this three guard lineup is not the answer every game all the time (yes there are times it will work). Jones needs to start. Little needs to get Melo's minutes and Powell should either start over CJ or come in and run the second unit.
At this point you either go all in and try to win games or just shut it down. Honestly. Why are they playing if all they want to do is get Melo points and minutes?
Kanter has his problems but obviously they needed him badly with Nurk on the bench with fouls.
    I have another question?
I was watching the game and the 5th foul was called on Nurk. Kanter had just gone out after a long shift. Isn't that when you put Giles in? I fully expected to see Harry for at least 5 mins. Instead we got Nurk playing no defense because he couldn't take a chance at getting a 6th foul. The Blazers absolutely could not play solid defense because they had no player to throw at Gobert.

The Blazers needs to be change in all areas. Management, Players, Broadcasters, and dod what you can to keep Brook from giggling so much after every sentence. I like her and she's cute, but come on, somebody coach her. And now that Trents gone at least I dont need to hear Bang Bang anymore, but Kent is not the answer.
This offseason will be the year, you see a bunch of changes my gut tells me, even around the league with coaches.

Rick Carlisle won the whole thing in 2010-11 but since then, 9 years he's not made the playoffs 4 times and has been knocked out of the first round 5 times. That one Title has kept him on the Mav sideline for 9 years since. He's gone too if he doesnt get them far this year. I bet many in here would say Carlisle is a solid coach.

I would bet Steve Kerr Retires or goes to a team loaded.
Pop will be gone, is my guess?

Blazers are only 1 game out of a Play-In spot. Would it really be that bad if they finished 7th or 8th, lost the Play-In game.....

....which allowed us to keep our Lottery pick
....which got Terry fired (and maybe NeO as well)
....and broke up the enabling Twins

Or do we stumble in, manage to win a game, and come back with the same tired excuses next year?

    This.

Put CJ on 6th man award man, Powell on SG and DJJ on SF and we can play.

It's that fuckin easy. But we can't bench CJ, because it would hurt his ego. This organization is a joke.

This Organization is run like many corporations where if earnings and product favorability is good (doesnt have to be the best) change can be slow.
Vulcans, Jody & Bert are the ones that need to see that change is needed for it to happen. When Corporate is centralized out of Seattle its very hard for loyal fans here to know what their plans really are.

So instead of what might be better for the team, we concede to the Law firm of Ego & Legacy.

Interestingly enough, they are not Defense Attorneys.

Jody and the Vulcans are more concerned about the Seachickens and Russell than little brother to0 the south.

CJ should really talk to Manu Ginobili about putting ones ego to the side. And maybe putting effort into defense.
