meh, when you have legendary shooters, great defenders, great passers and a versatile bench you don't have to be a genius to say: "Alright guys, defend hard and then on the other end i want you to pass the rock until you find the open man who will shoot it. If there's no open man i want Draymond to push their guard out of Steph/Kaly's way so they can shoot the open three!" He has proven to be a good coach, but he would've eaten shit in the dark if he took that Knicks job.
Yes, coach Bud is successful and sexy at the same time. Stotts has ZERO sex appeal, that's why the players don't listen to him.
Do it AFTER they spend all their money on presents, but BEFORE Christmas. And AFTER you get their cards, but BEFORE you send them cards.
Magic isn't smart. When Woj copied the Oregonian and ran an article against Paul Allen during the Sheed days, Magic, as a TNT guest announcer, read his script calling for Allen to go. He just says what he's told, or what he reads. A moron. Just remember that he last about 2 days as a head coach and never tried. Anyway, he was just blabbering what he was reading when he complained about the Laker coach. If you believe the official story. His personality was paranoid. An intellectual. He was disliked by Laker management.
Our coaching staff is like the Yogananda foundation and the Spurs is like the Hell's Angels favorite clubhouse
I remember it quite well. Not a theory. If you're right, then he would have gone on to have a successful NBA career. (He was out of the league by 4 1/2 years later.) http://www.basketball-reference.com/coaches/mckinja99c.html Note that the Kings fired him even faster.
This fucking clown needs to go. I saw numerous things tonight that made it perfectly clear to me that this is a coaching issue. Take the Spurs, for example. I know, I know....HOF Coach, all that stuff. Never mind that they have better skills at their starting 5 than we do. I get that. BUT.....the organization with which they run their plays, and the consistency in which they make adjustments was stunningly clear. You know who DOESN'T do that? Stotts. Time outs? Nope. Changes? Nope. Fix something that clearly isn't working and adjust a play? Nope. Even Dallas showed some kind of organization and consistency. This is a COACHING issue. But I'll put lack of skill set right there at #2. But if we fix the poor coaching, then that's half of the problem solved right there. Fire Stotts. Now. The tards over on BlazersEdge defend this moron and cum in their sweat pants whenever you mention his name. It makes me want to put a .40 S&W through my fucking screen.
When people say a coach has "lost the team", that means the coach has lost their respect and they're not even paying attention to him. And I don't think that is the case with Stotts at all.
Umm, yeah, I'm gonna have to STRONGLY disagree with you there Sinobas. Their body language is very telling when Stotts huddles with them. To me, that speaks volumes.
They can fire Stotts and I doubt their record changes one iota, but it probably isn't going to hurt them either. Somebody probably has to be held accountable and since GMs don't usually fire themselves, and it's tough to get rid of players on guaranteed contracts, Stotts seems the likeliest choice.
I think Stotts has been dealt a shit deck. I also think he could coach a better defense, but I wouldn't can him yet. Olshey totally bombed this offseason.
I think the players still like him just fine. There certainly hasn't been any rumblings that have leaked out to the media. If anything, I think Damian's comments about the rest of the team's lack of heart and fire is probably the closest thing to a diagnosis we're going to get.
Jim Tomsula was a "players coach", and everyone supposedly loved the guy. Yet....the 9ers still went 5-11.
Well, this roster simply doesn't have many ballers. Who on the team really has heart? Damian and Plumlee. That's it. The rest of the team is soft.
