It's a league thing. All players do it. Every. Single. One.

I will say, Stotts is getting better at adjustments, my biggest complaint.

And he's not nate, so that's a + by default.

It's a conspiracy! Sorry....I've actually seen players demand trades and get coaches fired so I'm not buying it for a second!

Fair enough. Not every single one, THE MAJORITY. There, amended.

I think Stotts deserves credit. I do think he had these guys playing too conservatively on defense, but if you look at this roster, it could easily be a shit 20 win team. He's really squeezing every ounce out right now.

The biggest change over the course of the season has been our greatly improved defense.

The defense has been elite the past month+, and we're winning.

The question is: Will the Blazers be sorry they didn't go after Tom Thibodeau? Don't say we never got the chance.

Re-watching the game on NBA TV now. 3rd Q just ended. Our defense in the 3rd Q was nothing short of amazing

I think the first half of the 4th quarter is pretty great too.

Not until he wins a championship. Then sure, we will regret it.....if it ever happens.
I think we are better off with Terry as a head coach and slowly but surely finding good assistants with a grasp on team defense. Copy the Spurs! Pops is amazing with how he molds his players into his system.

But players seem to like to play for Terry and that is half the battle. Do they like playing for Thibs? Because the coach is always the one fired, not the team.

I have been on and off with Stotts, but he is just now finally getting to run his system. Even defensively we are seen as much more aggressive, something I'm guessing the squad he was first given wasn't willing to be be.

Even Charles Manson has a fan club.

Just never thought you would be in charge of Nate's.

I'm not. I just don't hate him like some do. He had to deal with lots of key injuries.

One adjustment I noticed happened when dame checked in for his second stint. In the first quarter there were a couple of possessions where Dame tried to crash the boards or at least help out at that end after a Blazers miss. With Draymond's ability to bring the ball up court, Curry was able to leak out in the first quarter and either get a layup or at least establish a secondary fast break which led to easy looks. From the second quarter on however, Dame was no longer sticking around on the offensive glass. This helped eliminate fast breaks and easy opportunities by the warriors. Not worried that it contributed to his total rebounds matching the number on his jersey. And this started during his second stint after time on the bench with none other than Mr Stotts.

I think Nate was a great player coach with a solid defensive philosophy, kinda like Mark Jackson ended up being for the Warriors. He did get a lot out of the team considering the situation but Stotts is clearly a better X's and O's guy, players seem to like him as well.

Lead by dame intercepting passes and diving on the floor. Thats a fucking leader. He's so much better than albitch as our leader its not even funny. My only disappointment from last night is i didnt hear mvp chants when dame was at the line getting 50 and 51

Steph Curry probably would have stood up off of the bench and waved arrogantly at the crowd.
