I saw DMB in a bar called the Cat's Paw in Bozeman, MT somewhere around 1993/94. I also saw Pearl Jam play literally in a barn at the Bozeman Fairgrounds a few months prior to Ten being released.
Metallica at Memorial Coliseum 1992. Their basest wore a Bulls shirt and got booed very loudly for it.
$200 bucks to the first person who can make me an avatar of BeerBoy wearing Hammer Pants while working at Taco Bell!
Quarterflash, sometime in the early 80's I've got a nomination for worst concert ever. Slayer....Couldn't understand a damn thing being sung, and I thought I might die before the night was over. I was way out of my element, but the tickets were free!
Dude...dont rag on Slayer. Slayer fucking rules. Maybe my best concert ever was a Slayer/Pantera show. There are few things in the world that compare to the energy of Slayer playing Reign in Blood to a full house. I don't quite know how to answer that question. We didn't live on a commune, but I grew up eating organic food, much of which we grew ourselves. My parents had friends who would just travel the country and when they came through town, they would stay with us, sometimes for as long as a few months. Sometimes, even friends of friends would come and crash for a good length of time. They were probably a 4 or a 5 out of 10 on the hippie scale. I hope that helps.
