I don’t remember my first game. My dad got season tickets in 1974. My first game was sometime in 1975. I was about 7 years old. Memorial Coliseum. Section 76, Row E, seat 6.

I remember my dad alternating games taking me and my older brother. I remember it was my turn to go during game 6 of the championship game, and my dad chose to take a friend of his instead of me. Devastated. I had to watch it on tv at home.

Valentine had a body builder physique. His legs were other worldly muscular wise. He was a super cool guy too. I worked at the East Moreland Plaid Pantry before entering the Air Force, and was on my way to work and noticed him walking across the street. I went over to meet him, and he was super nice. We talked all the way to the store, where i rung up his purchase.

My 1st game, in person, was April 4th , 1980. Playoff game 2 vs. the hated Super Sonics. I stayed overnight (18 hours total) at the MC, in line, to get the tickets. They were great tickets. My buddy and i went and saw Billy Ray Bates lead the Blazers to an overtime victory. The Coliseum was nuts.

Exactly right. I played center high school and was only 6' tall. Guarded guys 6'2" to 6'9". These pros were so much bigger even though same height. Amazingly so.

The first I remember for sure was 1992. But first basketball game was when the dream team was touring. I swear it was on Burnside.

Mid 90's, don't remember the year. I do remember they played the rockets and I was only a few rows back.

Mine was also 1970 although I don't remember who we played. I was in the 8th grade and was thrilled to be attending a game in the Memorial Coliseum!

You old farts have good memories. My first game was at the glass palace. I was young and can’t remember the opponent. I went to a few games there. Such a cool vibe how you could walk up to it and see everybody moseying about.
