ok. playoff success is for teams that play well consistently. teams also have to get wins on the road, unless they have homecourt advantage. None of these things match with the lakers.
If playoffs were to start today, my predictions for the series' would have a ton 7 game series. So here are my predictions: Detroit 4 // New Jersey 2 Cleveland 3 // Miami 4 Washington 4 // Indiana 2 Toronto 3 // Chicago 4 Dallas 4 // LA Clippers 0 Phoenix 4 // Denver 2 San Antonio 3 // LA Lakers 4 Utah 3 // Houston 4
Gotta love the chances if LA plays Spurs. Spurs are not known lately for blowing out the Lakers in games. The last games between those 2 games have been very close and LA won 1 or 2 games against the Spurs this year and lost one beacuse of that Finley's game-winner. If Suns gets past the 1st round and LA beats San Antonio, then it would be Phoenix vs Los Angeles again ?

Kobe and Phil have mad respect for the Spurs team, and the Spurs have the kind of veteran character that Lakers don't have. Plus they don't have a Timmy irritator. All the teams that beat the Spurs in the playoffs have one guy that Tim hates dealing with. Rasheed Wallace being probably the best example. Kwame Brown I haven't seen play TD in a while but I don't believe he will give him fits. I do like the Lakers chances of denying Parker getting into the lane though.

Parker will run circles around Smush all day.

The game between Phoenix and Denver would be a heck of a series.. High scoring games.. and seeing Melo and Ai playing in the playoffs would be something to look for.. If both are on then I pick denver in a upset..
Detroit // New Jersey Cleveland // Miami Washington // Indiana Toronto // Chicago Dallas // LA Clippers Phoenix // Denver San Antonio // LA Lakers Utah // Houston Anyone else think this could be a year where 3 or more teams with home court advantage get knocked out in the first round?

A.I. and Carmelo are taking the steps to become a dynamic duo, however, good luck to Denver in the Playoffs.
