I have a busy morning, so I won't have a chance to update the selection and trade threads until this afternoon

Also, just something to think about on trades. Not only should you look at how an offer benefits your selections, but you should also look at what it does for the other team. Helping another team that was already strong get stronger doesn't help your team at the end.

Selection thread, trade thread, team web page and players selected web page should all be up to date. If you see any errors, please let me know.

I have a trade in the wings that could swing the entire draft if completed. Any other "bidders", throw your offers for all my players out there now. We're not taking chump change here.

Colangelo also said he was particularly impressed with the play of Dwight Howard and Tayshaun Prince, while Chauncey Billups said he was in awe of Kevin Durant's soft touch from the outside.

"He's going to be special," Billups said.

He was in AWE of Durant. Is anyone in awe of Oden besides Blazers fans?

I'm smacking the untouchable label on Kevin Durant.

A lot of players, fans, media, coaches are in awe of Duncan. Oden, not so much.

You're completely deluded.

Listen, I think Durant's going to be great, and I think a team could have justified taking him with the #1 pick. But unless your name is Michael Jordan, you just don't win titles without an All-Star center. It just doesn't happen. I guarantee you that most players and every coach in the league are in awe of Oden, as is the entire state of Ohio. He's unbelievable. Nothing but injuries could possibly derail his career. The worst possible case is that this past draft was a Hakeem-Jordan situation all over again, but there's never going to be another Jordan.

Enjoy Durant, he's going to be awesome. But don't knock Oden - he's just as talented, and a safer bet.
