Oden is mobile, he just doesn't have a great outside game yet. He's very fast for a center.

Haha. You aren't going to use Oden that way.

He's going to play down low in the post!

He's young and spry, so he shouldn't be lagging, but his value isn't in the running game (obviously).

Remember, Shaq was an awesome ballhandler as a kid. He ran the court and led the break like a guard.

Barbosa seemed perfect for my team, though. I was worried that a team based around Jefferson and Oden would be too slow, so Barbosa seemed to be the perfect way to turn that around. Plus, like you said, he's a deadeye shooter that'll make teams pay if they double off of him.

Oden's in terrible shape. He will be gasping for air after three minutes if you try to run.

He was one of the most athletic players in the draft.

Oden also has a bad problem with fouls.

In summer league he fouled out with 10 fouls!

He really has to improve on that.

Why was my trade disallowed? Just because I'm more active in trades than some doesn't mean I should be penalized for it. Everyone else is free to make trades too.

Barbosa is a great third guard. I wouldn't trust him to be my starter, though. Obviously, with my team, I targetted him in the fourth round, but I figured he wouldn't last until then.

He doesn't really fit your team, but I guess he's a good value pick if you can spin him into a more traditional point.

It was a ridiculous trade and makes a mockery out of the entire process.

If you have any further questions about it, take it to PM

Perhaps it wasn't a fair trade?

You can say some trades are bad, and there are clear winners and losers, but that trade had absolutely no way you can justify it from CelticKing's side. It was like he was just giving picks up, giving GK6 an unfair advantage by screwing everyone else.

[IMG]Read more >> Options >>

There were a lot of trades that didn't make sense either but they were allowed.

Anyways, my team is free for anyone to take.

Don't be like that. That trade wouldn't have greatly changed your team, so there's no point in quitting because it didn't go through.

It was my choice to make the trade though, and I don't see it as a threat to the other teams. What I don't like more about how the draft is going is the skipping that is happening with lot of teams, which gives an advantage to the other team who's getting a better pick just because someone didn't make a pick. I would do an automatic pick (best player available) and "skip" the skipping. That's doing more damage to the draft then my trade.

I think we can learn from how this draft goes and figure out ways to do the next one better.
