part of the problem with these forums is that most of u are way too young to rationalize the world into: play (extra curricular), pratical (works, means) and contemplation (spiritual). most of your lives still revolve around play.

I agree with Shard and TheFreshPrince, but you have to remember it's their own opinion. From what I've seen Sasha doesn't look too much into sports anymore, does that make him a bad person? Does it baffle me that he'll put some 80-year old dude over Simpson or Alba? Of course. Anyway for my list.

    1. Jessica Alba -- One of the hottest girl alive.
    2. Chad Johnson -- It would be very entertaining to say the least.
    3. Jessica Simpson -- See Jeccia Alba
    4. Reggie Bush -- Love how he plays the game and I think he can change the NFL forever one day...
    5. Andy Reid -- I'd love to see what goes through his head when he makes so of these decisions.

I agree that there are other people in the world that we should want to talk to, and hell if I could find someone who could without a shadow of a doubt break down the toughest concepts in life then I would gladly sit and talk with them. But if i'm asked at the top of my head to name five people I want to meet.. i'm going to name interesting people who pique my curiosity or allure me somehow.

There are no problems with the people posting in this thread, some may be too young to appreciate the things you do... but regardless, you can't judge a person's psyche just by five people they would like to meet that they post on a message board. It's ridiculous, seriously.

Dude, the thread is 5 people that we'd like to meet, not 5 people that we'd like to meet to increase our intellects or to incorporate all of the things you mentioned above into our list of people.

I find it funny that you are taking these lists so seriously as to to the point that some of you guys are attempting to look down on others just because they posted a celebrity or someone that you yourself may not want to meet. Regardless of what you say, I'd still rather meet Jessica Alba then some one Sasha mentioned, like say, Drunvalo Melchizedek. Just because I'd meet Jessica instead of him, you're going to claim that I can't rationalize the world?

I consider myself mature, and I consider myself quite knowledgeable in terms of what life is and what my life means, and you guys come and make it seem like choosing a celebrity over someone who's labelled as intelligent makes us all shallow. Like Shard said, it makes you yourself shallow that you judge other people's intellects because they don't agree with the people you're putting on your list. I'd just like to point out that these lists are not a evident reflection of anyone's character....while people like you and Sasha may want to meet people that are doctors, spirtual teachers, etc, there are a lot of other people that'd rather meet thier sporting idols.

    Stop being ignorant.

well its an oxymoron in the manner in which i presented my three categories. all categories are intended to be the antithesis of another, so the impetus is to make all categories obsolete and that is done to through moderation.

and to shard and junoon's point- these lists reveal values, what is most important in your life. clearly most of u haven't been engaged in any grown-up activity, hence jessica simpson matters.

For someone that thinks so highly of their own intellect, you seem to not be able to grasp simple points.

I'll make it clearer. These are lists of 5 (not every person) people we would like to meet. It was a simple question asked by you that received mostly simple answers except for the people who needed a place to feel superior over other people on the internet by claiming that they are not as worldy as themselves.

And to say that we haven't engaged in grown up activity is stupid. Grown ups are serious 24/7 and have no fun in life? Please. If being grown up is idolizing nerds and reading books and smelling your own farts then i'll pass on the growing up thing.

Anyways, Jessica Simpson has huge titties. I'd like to bounce those things like Sugar Ray Leonard.

Don't take it personal deception, but it seems that this thread, like many of your others, was created so you could look down on people.

deception, why are you making this such a big deal. when i am older, i still wont feel like meeting any of those people. i really dont care. im not saying theyre not important people, but personally id rather meet the people that i listed instead of the future president or something like that.

    Ok, I have an idea.

Deception, make another thread for the "adults" on here and tell them to post their top 5 intellectual, spiritual, know everything about anything people and we can keep this one because our brains are half the size of peanuts!

    That works!

And Shard, I do concur on them titties!

And to add to Shard's point....

Your comments are quite ridiculous, the more I look at them. Grown-up activity? Dude, you're labelling and critiquing other's intellects based on the fact that they didn't include some novelist or nobel prize winner as people they'd wanna meet. What's most important in my life is finishing my education, living life and enjoying life. A list on a message board of who you'd like to meet doesn't reflect your values, what you say and how you act does.

Get it through your own head before preaching to others that this is purely a fictional thread based on OPINION. You're not going to meet all of the people on your list (99% sure about that) and I find it hilarious that you question others' intelligence when just the fact that this is being into made into a big issue showcases a lack of intellect on your part.

Jessica Simpson doesn't matter to me...but Jessica Alba does. Lighten up, there is more to life then being so downright uptight about everything. Saying you'd want to meet a chick you think is really hot doesn't make you any less of an intellect...in fact, it's reccomended.

sex isn't a grown up act, kids and animals can have it, although, maintaining a relationship through emotional maturity is a grown up thing.

and to all posters in general- most of the people on my list did something substantive, they made the world a better place for u and me. and oh yeah. i've met thousands of girls better looking than jessica simpson, at least u guys could come up with more qualified candidates, if purely based on sex appeal. how about jessica biel? carla gugino? rosario dawson?

I don't even like Simpson all that much, but all of those girls you mentioned do not have as much sex appeal as her IMO.

Of course, Alba takes the cake [IMG]

don't want to talk girls with u but i prefer a girl with brains over sex appeal. and no jessica simpson doesn't have it and honestly i don't know too much about jessica alba so its carla gugino for me. i also wanted to add: elisabetta canalis and padma lakshmi and the girl from the pussycat dolls to my list of purely based on sex appeal

See I'd agree with you if this conversation was based on myself in real life and I was looking for a girl. I think intelligence without being too typical of a girl is personally quite attractive, but when it comes to celebrities, it's not like I interact with them, so therefore I don't know how they are. How they conduct themselves when they're on camera could be completely different then who they actually are, so I don't take any of that into account when considering sex appeal. Jessica Simpson is nice (as in nice lookin) IMO but she doesn't attract to me personally as much as Jessica Alba does. Alba may not be able to act to save her life but the girl is hands down in the opinion of MANY, the sexiest girl in the world. As for Carla, she'd fall in my "cute" category...the other one is hot but not my type of 'hot' and if it's the lead singer from the Dolls you're talking about then definetly she's sexy and I'd loosen up her buttons anyday [IMG]
