Yep, the Aldridge injury is boosting the development of other players to step their game up. When Aldridge comes back, the team will be soooo strong.
I hope so, I want to see them carry this new momentum and activity level on the court when LA is there rather than them watching LA just take 20-25 shots a night.
Well the good thing about Aldridge is he isn't a selfish ball hog like some superstars. Dame is really starting to develop into that "Wade-type" explosive scoring guard. I hope Stotts watches the tape when Wade and Shaw played on the same team. That's how I would attack other teams.
He certainly appears on the up and up, I am not sure we would not hear some complaining if the team cut his shots down to about 12 per game. That won't happen but hopefully he will drop to around 15 or 18 instead of the 20-25 he was getting. Whoever is scoring should get the most shots, and sometimes I think the team has gone away from that to make sure LA gets his shots. We will see what happens in the next few games though.
That's weird, I remembered how many would complain Aldridge doesn't assert himself more and take shots, then now people are complaining he is taking more? huh?!?! Aldridge and the shots he takes are the coaches decision. Obviously, his shots open the game for others around him. Aldridge doesn't need to change, everyone around him does.
Batum taking 15 shots team was winning 9 shots and we lose to Orlando. Come on Nicolas just shoot, rebound and defend. We cannot live with you turning the ball over 6 times.
