Any time you have an older QB, you draft a big, mean, talented offensive lineman, it's a good thing. They have now spend 3 recent, high picks on the OL and signed Schwartz. They signed the kid from Canada as well. The offense has a chance to be literally unstoppable. Now, they need to hit on some defensive picks.
Not so much any longer. Seems like the top programs have the morons who think they are Gods and are invincible. Kind of like him more than Scherff as I think about it. Pugh struggled at RT last year. His short arms were a concern. They didn't effect him as a rookie. Last year DE's took advantage of him. The Giants needed a tackle with long arms who is a mauler in the run game because Beatty has zero ability to block for the run.
Interesting thing was that Collins the safety hasn't been drafted. If I'm NY, I'm offering up their 2nd and 4th this year and maybe even a 3rd next year to get the first pick in round 2 and take him. They badly have to get a legit safety.
