Get a flu shot. Period. It’s not debatable.

While I don't like being exposed to people with the flu I know of no efforts to make flu shots mandatory unless you are certain health care providers and perhaps some other people who have critical jobs in the government or even elsewhere.

You wouldn't want a doctor doing surgery on your gut while infected with the flu. Or you wouldn't want your transplant surgeon doing his surgery on you while he had the flu.

Get a flu shot. I'm recommended to get one every year. I have asthma. When I get sick I have to take prednisone to strengthen my lungs. Anything that helps me not have to go to the doctors for lung stuff is worth it.

No debate. Just people who have no clue what they are talking about or are in denial or hate science.

When it comes to this, yes. People who think they know more than actual medical professionals are clowns.

It's like the debate over the shape of the Earth - It's round. No, it's not, it's flat.

When I get an asthma attack I have to go to the hospital emergency room. Then they keep me half the night. I get home at about 2 AM and have to get up at 4 AM to go to my routine visit for a life saving treatment. It's a truly miserable experience.

Please don't give me the flu, I've got enough problems already.

There are medical professionals on both sides, where did you receive your MD? Like others have said, the ingredients in vaccinations are made public so there is no question what they actually contain. If a person decides any of these ingredients are ones they dont want injected directly into their bloodstream, that is their right. Since you are so into science, look up "mercury" on the periodic table of elements.

Do you have to have a medical degree to understand when doctors say the shot is safe and highly recommended? How about the Center for Disease Control? Do you think they might know something about this?

"According to the Alzheimer’s Association, the idea that flu shots (or the chemicals within the shots) cause or increase the risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease is a common myth and is false."
"You may have heard someone say that they’re not getting a flu shot because it might cause or increase the risk for Alzheimer’s. Are they onto something, or is this a myth?
This idea may come from Dr. Hugh Fudenberg, whose medical license was revoked in 1995."

You are more than welcome to continue getting flu shots, that is your right, nobody wants to take it from you. Walgreens certainly doesn't. It's the right of others to say no thanks. If you are so worried about the flu, get a flu shot. If they work so well you shouldn't have to worry about any science-hating flat earther uneducated flu zombie clowns killing you with their deadly flu disease.

I recommend some of you get a distemper shot. It's done wonders for me.

Elemental mercury is not found in flu shots, so looking it up in the periodic table won't tell you much.

I get my free flu shots at the VA and not at Walgreens.

That’s the point. I’m not a medical professional so I listen go their advice like a smart person. I don’t override their suggestions because I’m some conspiracy theorist truther moron.

Opting out of a flu shot doesn't make one a "conspiracy theorist". It just means they've weighed the facts on both sides and decided it's not with getting poked this year. Maybe that changes with age and weakened immune response, many people don't start getting them until they're older.

I think the real conspiracy theory is the idea that a few people not getting the flu shot is going to cause some mass pandemic.
