Here is a good video on making pizza on the ooni and a good dough recipe. Neapolitan pizza is a very specific type. Good thing these days is you can order the 00 flour on Amazon for a reasonable price. Also you can premake the dough and ball it up into servings then freeze them. So pizza day is easy anyday.
Salem has a few good spots, sure. Adam's, Roger That! is amazing. This is just ridiculous though. I've had better BBQ in so many places across the country. Salem doesn't even come close to comparing.
Update on my pizza oven. Love the damn thing. One of my best purchases in a long time. Anyone who loves pizza and BBQ should look into one, they are a lot of fun. Pizza dough is easy enough to make or you can buy it, but I have a freezer full of homemade pizza size balls of dough now. I just found out you can buy dough from Pizza Schmizza so I will have to give that a try. My wife is burning out on pizza a little bit, but since it's pizza she is still mostly ok with my new obsession. It's really easy to use also, the only real trick is getting it off the peel which I have got pretty good at.
We're gonn be visting Austin, TX sometime soon. Naturally, Franklin's is all the (hyped) rage, but I'm hearing there's a better bbq joint in town with not nearly the wait. Anyone know of said establishment?
La BBQ ? https://www.labarbecue.com/menu I went there it was great. Don't have a point of reference, and I went during the pandemic so it was no wait with a pre-order. This place was bomb too, but its about 20 min outside of downtown austin https://www.valentinastexmexbbq.com/
Yup. Check out this Breakfast Taco. lol. Gonna be in Dallas in a few weeks, definitely gonna get some Torchys Tacos.
Nah, neither. I don't own a home, just a renter and I have rent control so I'm paying half the market rate here in LA. Plus we have a pretty decent combined income, so we can afford to travel whenever we want really.
Nah, I think we bought the ones at costco once. Never really done that, maybe just get from the cheesecake factory? lol
