In summer, consomme or a cold soup like gazpacho. Not to be confused with gazpacho police.

Marjorie Taylor Greene accused Nancy Pelosi of sending "gazpacho police " after her. Because she doesn't know difference between gazpacho and Gestapo.

Poke stack, Bed of red cabbage, shredded carrot, Cucumber and Avocado, topped with a stack of sushi rice mixed with furikake, poke and edamame, surrounded by fried wonton triangles. Rice vinegared green onions twirled on top.

I made some homemade meatballs and pasta on Friday with garlic knots. Then made homemade Sicilian pizza with the leftover meatballs on Sunday. I'm getting some good use with my baking steel so far, its been great for my pizzas and breads. I'm really loving the steel so far and Im keeping it in my oven pretty much full time, it works really well as a temperature stabilizer for general cooking. I might still get a breadstone as Ive been reading that you can use them together for some things, either the stone on the steel, or stone on top rack steel on the bottom and food in-between.

I've also been doing focaccias. They are so easy and everyone loves them. I just do garlic salt on the top though.

I am finding more uses for my baking steel. We have been doing steaks in the oven, searing them in the cast iron, then the whole cast iron in the oven on the steel for about 10 minutes. They have been coming out great and super easy.

Wife wanted some fettecine Alfredo this past weekend but trying to be healthier so found another recipe using milk and chicken stock. It wasn't bad, solid B- and doesn't really compare to a real Alfredo sauce, but if you're trying for a good substitute and don't want all the calories, it worked pretty well.

I don’t live too far. Haven’t ate at a skippers in years. Loved it as a kid. Every time I’ve driven by there it looks like no one’s there. My buddy says he’s tried going a few times and there’s signs on the door saying due to lack of staffing they’re only open a couple days a week.
