Okay, that's from AP. It sounds like the usual excuses given. But you stated it as a known proven fact. Also, Israel's return fire sounds haphazard. "Near" the school doesn't justify blowing up the school and killing 16.

Also, you said the school had stored arms, as if it was a known verified fact. Where does the article even make the accusation, much less offer evidence or proof.

if I must look up a three day old story for you I would, but you have a tendency to argue regardless..seriously, I do not make shit up. There was a story reported on NPR that the Israelis has confiscated arms at several UN buildings. Google it yourself.

The UN even admitted it. Arguing with that poster isn't worth the effort. It's why I've ignored him.

Okay, I verified that story by looking for a more reliable site and found it. So I concede that at 2 vacant schools (not the 2 bombed), an unknown number of rockets were stored.

Still, if I'm Israel and a couple of rounds are fired from "near a school," I'll go in there on the ground without haphazardly bombing the school, knowing how many innocents are in there.

and again the UN contradicts itself, check further and you will discover that these "vacant" schools are being used to house those seeking protection. These are the very same that Hamas uses to launch rockets with the expectation of fire being returned, and the expectation of civilian casualties.

And to further address your argument that Israel is loosing public opinion, well that is entirely the point. Hamas can only win in the court of public opinion, they could never hope to fight a protracted ground war. So to understand each other, we are in agreement that these casualties are a Public relations move?

Yesterday Israel had killed 850 civilians. Today there have been dozens added. I don't know how you can blame "public relations." Even if Hamas tricked Israel into all 900 killings, that doesn't make Israel look very bright.

I do not blame public relations, merely understand why Hamas is doing what it is doing, as I suspect you do as well. No, it does not make Israel look bright as you say, but this is not a popularity contest, this is about securing its national security, another concept that many in this country have no concept of.

Next time there's a war in Europe like Bosnia (and a war can be easily created for this purpose), grab a piece of land (with UN, superpower, and international law backing) for your new homeland. You are welcome in Europe, but not in Muslim regions, where you will never have peace.

you know, the thing I find consistent with your post is that anywhere there are Muslims, there is no peace

Accept it and move on. To a Christian region, where they turn the other cheek and let you take over. If the Arabs haven't given in to Israel after 70 years of war and being tortured, they never will. It'll be the same 70 years from now.

Greece has problems. It would be easy to move Jews into one side for a generation, then have poverty provoke a civil war, and when the new borders are drawn, you have an Israel-like climate on a seacoast for your new homeland.

Better yet, the island of Cyprus. Defensible borders. Current population 1 million. Make friends with them and include them in the power structure, along with the 6 million former Israelis.
