Former Met Darryl Hamilton killed in an apparent murder-suicide

    Former Met Darryl Hamilton was found dead at a house in Texas, the apparent victim of a murder-suicide (June 22, 12:37 pm).

    According to police, Hamilton suffered several gunshot wounds, while Monica Jordan had a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

    Hamilton, 50, was currently working as an analyst for the MLB Network.

    Hamilton played for the Mets from 1999 to 2001, retiring after his stint with the club ended.

    He was quite a good baseball player. Great hitter and fielder. Monica Jordan wasted an innocent guy when she should have terminated herself. RIP DH
