<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>It's not a matter of owning a gun, but rather bringing it to a club. When people get drunk, and you throw guns in the mix with tons of people around, it rarely turns out good.</div> Did he bring it into a club though? I thought they said he got it out of his car after he was mugged/hit by a car outside the club. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>And some of you say that "common people" wear guns, so that makes it right? Are you all f*cking nuts?</div> Not wear guns, but have them in their household. And if they have a permit, it's all legal. I like your enthusiasm against guns but let's face it, they ain't going away. People have tried in the past.

First of all, im drunk right now. Second of all, this is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. How did this whole thing start is what I want to know. Also, I just want to know what is going to happen to these guys. If the Pacers havent had enough problems with their team in the past.

Hehehehe, they were outside a strip club. That sends a good message in itself.

Damn Pacers are get a badder reputation. Stephen Jackson I'm not surpirsed he is involved because we saw what happend in Auburn Hills. Daniel you just got on the team how could you do this? I wonder if the car that hit Jackson won't effect Jackson's play

It's hard to be mad a Jackson. Dude gets hit by a car, grabs a gun...seems to be a wholly legal and rational act to me. The act of grabbing the gun sent the people away. What should he have done? Continue to get hit by a car?I'm usually for gun control, but this is clearly a case in which owning a gun helped. The gun shots didn't harm anyone, and also prevented someone from being seriously injured. The stupid Pacer in this story isn't SJax...It's Tinsley.

What? Reggie Miller never did anything wrong. I dont know what you're talking about there. It was only Jermaine, Artest, and jackson involved with the brawl.

Re: Four Pacers involved in shooting!!

I think its stupid to be carrying a gun into a night club. People go there to dance and have fun, not to be worried about which person is carrying a gun. Like Renton said its a cycle- people carry guns because they are scared of others with guns. Professional athletes should get body guards if they are so worried, not get a gun. These guys are role models, what kind of example are they setting by getting into fights and firing guns in public?

It doesn't say he ran to his car and got a peice. It seems like he had it on him! And if he didn't thats worse.... going away from the fight and coming back with a gun?

I understand why some people over here can't understand why I'm getting so fired (no pun intended) up about this, but I live in a country where guns aren't that easy to buy, so maybe I have a more realistic view of what's happening in the US. I'm not saying that everything over here is sooooo perfect, because believe me, it's not. But carrying guns doesn't make any sense, regardless if you are considered to be a role model, or just an average Joe.
