Beck has said some of the worst and most racist things you'll ever hear on his radio program. That's why I call him a dirt bag. Though I also point out that one some things he does make valid points.
I think CNN and Foxnews are about the same when actually reporting the news (election results, hurricane etc.). I do think Foxnews might slant the news a little right and CNN a little left but not that bad. Now when your talking about the news entertainment shows CNN is way left except for Glenn Beck and Foxnews is way right. It's funny CNN added Beck because Foxnews was killing them in the ratings. I haven't watched Beck a lot but the few times I did I thought his show was fairly amusing. I did watch MSNBC years ago but never really like the channel except for a couple broadcasters. I agree I do watch CNN a lot more then I would for the general news because I get it in HD. I do think if Foxnews was in HD I would probably at least split my viewing or maybe even watch Foxnews more. I heard Foxnews is suppose to be broadcast in HD soon or at least sometime this year.
Greta Van Sustren moved to Fox from CNN. At CNN, she was one of Clinton's biggest supporters and chearleaders and avidly defended him during the impeachment trial. It's not like Fox has all conservative viewpoints presented on their network, even when it comes to the hosts of their non-news programs. CNN made a play to appeal to conservative viewers at one point, but gave up on it. They hired Paula Zahn from Fox and gave her a show. I haven't seen her on CNN in ages tho.
As I said, he is far better than the other conservative, right-leaning commentators. I have never listened to his radio show. I don't think I even own a radio. Perhaps I should also mention that, other than Nets basketball, I watch TV about twice a month, so I certainly don't get to see him all that often.
BUMP......the first/oldest thread in the OT section. Go figure, Denny was all up in the middle of this one too!
