ucas Barrios hit a hat-trick as Montpellier came from behind to get the better of a five-goal thriller against hosts Metz at the Stade Saint-Symphorien on Saturday night.

Upwardly-mobile Bastia were denied a third win in four Ligue 1 matches after conceding a late equaliser at fellow relegation battlers Toulouse.

Bastia had been victorious in five of their previous seven league and cup matches, while drawing the other two, and they were on course for another triumph after taking the lead at the Stadium de Toulouse through Ali Ahamada's own goal.

Toulouse, having lost eight of their previous 11 league games, refused to give up, though, and Martin Braithwaite's equaliser 13 minutes from time salvaged a 1-1 draw for the hosts.
