After what Glen said about Miller making the team I think he's going to try to find a way to keep him. Brassard has to go though for the money to work.
Not sure we have enough to get Thornton. Unless stripping him of his captaincy which looks like is happening creates animosity
Kreider should be less than 3, unless we go long and buy out UFA years. Zucc will get 3 to 3.5 I think on a 4 or so year deal.
These forwards really don't scare me. C is very weak. Don't love the 3rd line at all. If MSL takes a little step back we have issues. Concerned upfront.
I think the Devils have a better overall forward group now after today, and they still have 5m to play with.
if you go by stats...kreider hasn't done much in the regular season ...zucc has done one year of high point total, both are RFA...both getting raises with Zucc saying he would take less to keep what is best for the team....
