Nah, he'd cost so little, and he has a ton of talent. To me he would be just another asset to use for the trade deadline

I want minutes to go to Leonard and Freeland that aren't going to Aldridge and Hickson. I don't see added value in Blatche taking minutes from either of them.

You look at it in terms of minutes, I see assets and practice bodies. The more quality bigs our young guys have to practice against, the more they can learn and develop.

I think Blatche would be a solid addition.

I respectfully but strenuously disagree. That guy would be a horrible influence on the rookies -- definitely not the guy you want in your locker room if you're trying to rebuild a team and install a winning (i.e. hard-working) culture.

Appreciate and reciprocate the "respectfully" part.

That said, I have little doubt that Aldridge and Matthews (and possibly Joel if he returns) would have significantly more locker room influence than Blatche. I imagine Jared Jeffries would even have more impact on our rooks. Furthermore, I'd be willing to bet that if he were to get all Blatche-y, Lillard is the type of cat to tell him to shut the #@&% up (a la Roy circa 2007) rather than be negatively influenced.

I would pick him up for what he can do on the court, and I expect that the locker room would be able to take care of itself.

For the sake of argument, let's say you're right and that he'd have no appreciable affect on locker room chemistry in a negative way -- where do you play him? Freeland, Leonard, Claver, Hickson and Aldridge probably get to eat first. Setting aside my disdain for Blatche as a person and a player, I don't think there's room.

NO TO BLATCHE!!! That's a Whitsitt move. (His FA signings always seemed to backfire, except possibly Brian Grant.)

Sign Ronny Turiaf instead. (That's a chemistry signing.)

Blatche needs to end up somewhere like San Antonio.

I don't see us adding Blatche. I would like it but I thought we would have gone for Scola if we wanted another big.

WTF is going on with McGee? Why is he stalling signing with the Nuggets?

John Hollinger: If Felton isn't amazing in NY, crowd is going to crucify him. If he thought he was leaving that in Portland, guess again ... about 7 minutes ago

He thought he left the rabid crowd of fans chasing him with pitch forks back in Portland? Guess again. He just couldn't see us chasing him down through his own fat ass.

It's when the chase turned into an orderly line at Voodoo Donuts, where Felton and the pitchfork crowd waited for an hour before getting their dozen donuts that Felton thought maybe we weren't very serious.

Give Felton a break. There was a lockout and he was training in competitive eating.

Dude, if Kobayashi can stay as thin as he is through all his eating competitions, Felton gets no breaks!
