What killed us last season was the absence of Juwan Howard, so we need big men, not guards. But with Pendergraph reasserting his leadership role, we are set.

I agree we should target bigs before smalls. Think about what will happen if LaMarcus, Camby, or Gerald miss any games, we will be in quite a pickle. I think we would be ok if a guard is out for a week or two, but I don't want another season of having to start Pendegraph or 30 minutes of Batum at the 4. Even if we are at full health LaMarcus needs to play less MPG and have something in the tank for the playoffs.

Landry would be a great addition, he could be a solid starter or great backup for us. Maybe a Chuck Hayes would help. Crawford could be an exciting addition but I wouldn't be shocked if he sulks from lack of touches and just wants to chuck low percentage shots so I'm not convinced he'd be worth a large MLE deal.

But if we don't add anyone beyond 1 year deals I'll be happy too, salary flexibility could be very valuable in future seasons and that will give us an immediate chance at evaluating Wes, Nic, Gerald, Felton, and maybe a tiny bit of Elliot Williams.

I'd say it's about 50% of each, but then I'm not feeling 100% today, so factor that in.
