Exactly. We're not far-enough removed from the Roy/Oden era to be taking home-run cuts with players with chronic knee issues.

Plus, once a Laker, always a Laker.

Leonard, Claver and T-Rob (other team is going to want someone) make about 7 mil. Package them together for a quality big man some other team is looking to dump?

I think I saw it was basically Vaginajao for Asik, not sure about fillers. I can't remember where I read that though

Two buy low options that maybe could be available that could potentially help our frontcourt off the bench....Dalembert and Kaman. Both kind of shoved out of the rotations on their respective teams.

Neither is going to set the world on fire, but Dalembert would be a much better defensive option over Freeland, Kaman a much better offensive option off the bench, someone we can dump the ball into on occasion. Neither is some last piece to a championship sort of guy or anything, just thinking about cheaper options than Hawes, Asik, etc. that could become available to us.

I've always liked Dalembert. A center rotation with 30 min of Lopez and 18 of Dalembert would be sick.

Phoenix has Len, they don't need the Nard. They are also loaded with SF's.
Frye was on fire last night btw.

Would you trade TRob to get Amir Johnson?

My question was to MM when he mentioned Cleveland would land Asik in 3 days. Who is Cleveland offering that could get that done? Who could be sitting out tomorrow night for Cleveland that could help us win tomorrow night?

Cleveland is playing well as of late. This games worries me. Especially if KI goes off.

But many around the league continue to believe Morey has a deal in place, likely with Philadelphia, either for forward Thaddeus Young or center Spencer Hawes, and is looking to see if anyone will sweeten the deal. NBA.com - See more at: http://hoopshype.com/rumors.htm#sthash.FwVhNGbl.dpuf

Unless we can get a Noah, Horford, Marc Gasol stud level talent I have trouble seeing any trade that makes sense for this team.

If Memphis keeps losing do they look at rebuilding? TRob, Joel, Meyers, CJ, Claver is a good collection of youth. Throw in our 2018 and/or 2020 first round picks if we need to close the deal. A 3 man big rotation of Lopez, LMA and DOPY Marc Gasol would be lethal. Replace Gasol with Horford or Noah and I still love it. I hate giving up CJ but truth is bigs win titles and with Lillard already commanding the leagues #1 offense their isn't a huge opportunity for CJ here.

Which is why it's moot. No way Toronto buys that stepped on crack

OK lets take this a step further. Yea or Nay....Amir Johnson and Landry Fields for Thomas Robinson, Dorell Wright, Meyers Leonard and Victor Claver?

Or maybe you should answer why Toronto would do it?
