ill answer this one in hopes of speaking for my fellow ticket holders. im invested in the team as a whole. NO gone? Dame gone? Im still renewing my tickets. Why? Because why not? What else is there? Travel down to gsw and be a bandwagon fan? i love the in house experience and energy, regardless if i feel we didnt do enough in the offseason. i personally think its somewhat silly to think people are going to just give up thier seats because NO didnt do enough. there is also tenure in my tickets. Ive built up discounts and if i give my seats up i will have lesser quality seats in the future and pay more for them. Mine are pretty prime for 300 level( as some here can attest to). No way im just giving that up. If anything, if i felt like you, i would just not attend games and sell all my tix. but im mot giving up my seats. Buuuut that aint happening either. Also, my sales rep? You think our sales reps know whats up with the team? LOL why would you want us to ask these questions when most of us know thier job is to sell tickets. Not know the inside word on the teams future. Not sure what you would expend them to say if posed with the question: Can you tell me what the team is up to? If not im not renewing. Im sure the answer would be, “hold on. Let me run down to NO’s office and get that info for you!” im not sure you are being very realistic with this season ticket threat talk.
This! I think it's hilarious that people think they'll dent Jody Allen's pocketbook by canceling their tickets when somebody will scoop them up the minute they become available...just baffling....even if thousands of season ticket holders bailed...all it would do is make her want to sell the team to Kansas City, etc...there's nothing to win in any of that
My least favorite city I've ever visited in the states...I went there to see the Rockefeller Art Gallery...whole trip sucked
For real. The cab driver was bragging about how green KC was. It sucked. Everything is so sprawled out it takes forever to get anywhere. Their downtown was a ghost town. The bbq was no better than Buster's bbq in Portland
I have only been to Cleveland out of those (and haven't been to KC) but Cleveland certainly sucked. I feel bad because it is cliché but it was true.
I haven't been to as many cities as many of you have. But Portland is my favorite, for more reasons than it's my hometown. Denver is 2nd ( current home, 2nd go around), and Honolulu is my 3rd. Toronto is my favorite Big City. But every time i hear a Nat'l Sports Talk Host, say " Ain't nobody going to Portland", it's like a giant kick to the jewels. Tonight Ephraim Salaam , who host a Saturday Show with Brian Noe, said exactly those words when talking about where Free Agents would go. I like Ephraim. He played for my Broncos, and is a genuine good dude. He's a SoCal Boy so he loves everything LA. But i hate that he said that statement. Because he's not the only one. Noe is Butthurt, so he's gonna badmouth Portland. Kinda expect that. He's back in Indiana waiting on his next gig. But it shows how hard it is to get TOP players to sign up with our favorite team. Unless we overpay. And i find it super sad cause once guys go to Portland, many stay. But if our Blazers are to make a move, it will most likely have to be through trade. Neil's job ain't easy, but many seem to think he sits on his hands and does nothing. I believe he'd love to make the Blazers Champions. It would be an incredible accomplishment in these current NBA times. But it also makes me even more appreciative of Dame, And CJ too, for making a commitment to the area , not just the court. And why, if just things can go right, how special a Championship with these guys would be. And a wonderful Erect, Middle, Finger to the Naysayers.
Doesn't make much sense. They have Grant Williams who is on pretty much the same level as Millsap is now if you squint hard enough. Tatum played PF for 90% of his time in 19-20 but can obviously swing to 3 as well. Robert Williams is probably their starting C. They also have Horford who is a Millsap clone but will probably be their backup C. And Kanter is their third C, and they have a scrub in Ojeleye who also played last year. They have a lot of guys of similar talent level fighting for not many minutes. Don't get the fit from either the team or Paul's perspective.
OJeyele is on the Bucks. They could move Tatum to the 3. Starting Smart, Brown, Tatum, Milsap, and Williams
Missed the Semi move. But still clogged. I highly doubt Millsap would start. Schroeder would be their PG and everyone would move down a spot.
