The Blazers had younger versions of three of those, and no one liked them. Now we are supposed to be upset that LA has older versions?
It's still weird when I see fans wondering why the Blazers couldn't get one of the better free agents. Decades of examples showing the best free agents want nothing to do with Portland as a city and yet they manufacture outrage every everytime. Maybe they just became Blazers fans last season and expect us to be on a level playing field with the Lakers. Help me understand the thinking.
I love Kendrick Nunn! But alas we have way to many 6 foot 3 and under dudes already. If he was 6 foot 5 or taller I would say give him the TpMLE!
I have to believe the Blazers are leaving a couple roster spots open to see if any of the auditioners on the SL team are worthy of a vet min deal.
It’s apples and oranges. Why don’t people get that? LA and Lebron and AD is not anywhere close to Portland and Lillard. These guys would not choose Portland over the Laker option
What are you talking about? Collins doesn't affect our cap sheet. It wouldn't affect how close we would be to the hard cap.
The basic idea is that every signing is a chance to bitch about Olshey. Many here are deeply in touch with their feelings.
Maybe someone has already brought this up but……..with every signing the Lakers look more and more like they’re prepping to play in a wheelchair league. Maybe they’re looking for senior citizen discounts on the road??? LA has serious talent but it is old, getting older, and even more fragile. Lotta miles on the tires. It will be interesting to see how much gas they have when the playoffs roll around. Of course having LBJ to manipulate the refs never hurts………
Someone's gotta want Schroeder. With the talk of potential bad locker room dude, might not bring back a nice return.
I sure wish somebody...anybody...would find out if Zeller signed for the MLE. All these local reporters and bloggers and NBA wannabe's and not one of them can find out what he signed for
Hey @illmatic99--put your stalking skills to good use and get in contact with Zeller's agent and get us some answers!!
What made the Lakers scary the previous 2 seasons was their defense. This roster is not going to be able to defend anyone. LeBron will run out of gas trying to make up for Westbrook and Melo’s terrible defense.
