I do get Sportscenter but it is filled with hockey news, but I doubt it strikes either your fancy or mine. Why would you need to be so emotional about people who don't know what's going on? Happenings that you, incidentally, can only prove by word of mouth. And also, I find it pretty weird that a nationally broadcast sports news program could report pretty minor free agency news (Gadzuric and Andersen are not the marquee guys), but none of the news exists in print? Surely if there has been really an agreement, wouldn't the New Orleans or the Milwaukee paper carry the news, to say the least?
Well, I saw the Gadzuric report. But the quote was something like "Gadzuric is expected to resign with the Milwaukee Bucks". Sorry, don't be offended. I just wanted to see some source just to be sure it was true that Andersen's resigning with New Orleans.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting AznxBaller:</div><div class="quote_post">Show me a link. Shouldn't something about it be up now? I mean, really the ESPN websites got jack on it and their pretty updated. Usually there's some kind of breaking news thing on the right hand side but they've got nothing. If we didn't get him, we definitely should have at least tried. It wouldn't have mattered if we had Howard. Of course, it would have helped and we wouldn't have ended up with a forty point loss. And no, we didn't lose because McGrady couldn't close out the fourth quarter. No, in fact it was because Dallas held all the role players to crummy shooting with defense and a fast paced strategy (not to mention small ball) that burned our guards out. McGrady and Bowen pretty much canceled out Josh Howard and Dirk. So I don't think it would have mattered whether or not Juwan was there. Instead, we had no answer for Dallas' athleticism and their guards. By adding Head, I think we addressed that issue a bit, but without a legit powerforward do you really think we can beat the best? To contend for a championship, you need to be able to win against the champions- so do you have enough faith that we could have beaten the Spurs with just Howard?</div> you dont think we could have closed out game 3,4 or 5 if tmac hadn't gone cold in the 4th? im not sayin that this is the only reason but it is a factor. i don't know about yall but i am willing to wait ayear to pick up a pf that has some proven skills.

I just realized how stupid I am- I was thinking solely on game 7. But still, if we had Howard, I don't think would could have beaten San Antonio Spurs. Howard can't guard Duncan, period. And until there is a legit powerforward, I don't think we can really match up against a team that has a solid powerforward. Not to put anything against Dirk or anything, but he has no low post game at all. I think we'd be stronger playoff contenders, but definitely not championship contenders. Although the series in the regular season was tied, one was because of the McGrady miracle (I honestly don't think it will happen again) and another because no one's shot was on (brickfest). I would have to agree we would be a stronger team (maybe make it to the Western Conference Finals) but I just don't think we can win a championship with just one legit powerforward.
True. yea dirk really proved something to me that playoff series.and it wasn't anything good either. But tmac on duncan maybe?!?!?! LOL JK!
