I guess this would be "adding injury to insult"

Well at least there's no season ending damage. At least 2 weeks doesn't sound great for our short term record though probably another few weeks until he's in game shape. So that's middle of February about when Rolo comes back too.

Meyers is not a center he's a stretch 4. Maybe he gets a few minutes as LMA backup alongside Kaman. Claver is more of a center. TRob could be given a chance I suppose. If I'm Olshey I'm looking at trades as even when those guys come back they'll be more prone to reinjury. It's not impossible Kaman or LaMarcus miss games either.

I'm 6'4" but I played center in high school so I'm available to step in if anymore of our bigs go down.

I'm 6'2" but really i'm just very awesome at just about everything in every way so i think the decision pretty much has been made.....
Will they give me a new pair of sneakers?
Maybe they could throw in an autographed T-Shirt as well. I mean it would most certainly be worth the trouble that way right?

6'1" and played center in Middle School. I averaged four blocks a game. I'm obviously the best choice.

Not good news. But they will be fine. The team has depth. They still have Kaman, Leonard and Robison who can play the position. Just means more valuable time for Robinson and Leonard.

I'm more concerned about the teams energy last night. The coach was nice enoughto give them NOT one day off but two. They came out looking like they did. I believe if they had one more day of practice instead of one more day to lay around and relax and who knows party they would have been much more sharper last night. BS by the players.

I'm more Spud Webb height (actually, I'd tower over him by a whopping 3 inches!) and built more like a Spud.

I have an arthritic hip so I could wheeze and hobble myself up and down court - either that or I could just fill one of the spots at the end of the bench and collect a paycheck as you all wonder about my potential when I get healthy (ala Greg Oden).

And yet our record is just as good as last year's.

This is where it matters; when Joel went down last season, we suffered as well. Our stretch without him here is big.

Bummer for the team and Joel. He was really hitting his stride. We'll probably be seeing a mix of Trob and Leonard. Great opportunity for one of them to step up (as Freeland did) and prove that they should be part of the rotation and long term plans.

it'd be pretty difficult for Robinson to be part of long-term plans, but not impossible. Especially if he likes giving hometown discounts.

After we win the championship, Paul Allen is going to bring everyone back.

It's like we talked about earlier...if Robinson plays well enough to stay long-term, he'll get more than the max we can offer him (4.66M) from the outside (who have no restrictions)

    I don't think that'll be a problem we'll have.

Neil only likes 4 year guys though, 1 year of high school playing center won't cut the mustard.

I'm thinking this could be just what Meyers and TRob need before the trade deadline....an opportunity to show they have value. Victor better suit up though. If Meyers plays, we need a defender on the court with him who can rebound
