I think your both right, Obama won because he wasn't republican. Until the republicans can divorce themselves from the bat shit crazy element of their party they are are just banking on democrat failure instead of republican success, which isn't a very smart political platform IMO.

No. And most reserve centers don't have doctors, so you have to go out in town to get your yearly checkups to stay deployable.

I was kidding. Who ever heard of a health care ship?

(Medical ships, yes, but they're like where the fighting goes on I'd think)

They're actually used more in HA/DR situations, since there's only 2 of them. We're not fighting in many places where you can get a ship easily, but places like Haiti, Banda Aceh, Burma, Timor Leste, Philippines, are where we've sent ships recently.

    I found this interesting..

We all know that Oboma wants to use obomacare as his legacy. This is interesting to compare to Nixon, a president that many would point to as the worst. Here is a short clip of only a single example of his positive actions http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=LemllfcAY8A&sns=em

Nixon wasn't the worst. He was decent in a lot of ways, especially in ending the war, detente with the USSR, and opening relations with China. I think he tried to do good domestically, too

He was, though, a very sick man. Consumed by how he'd be viewed by future historians. It wasn't good enough to just beat whichever democrat in the '72 election, it had to be a victory of epic proportion. To the point he illegally rigged it and abused his office to destroy those who stood in his way.

The Mafia are bad guys who ran Vegas awesome.

I don't really care to defend Nixon. I remember him well, didn't like him, and wanted him impeached.

What I find amazing is the things that ol tricky Dick did that inflamed a nation, oboma has far surpassed

Like you , I wanted Nixon ousted..but I do recognize the great things he did.

See, I think Obama is almost completely ineffective. His "accomplishments" happened in the first 90 days and I guess the tax hike after reelection.

The few things the IRS has done pale in comparison. Not at all in the same league.

The NSA stuff is most troubling, but that's a train that's had momentum since the Clinton years.

I guess he's had a couple other victories like gays in the military and other social issues that cost taxpayers $0 and required no leadership or congressional votes.

Is this really a burden for someone with your income?
Don't you think there are more important issues to complain about that have a more substantive affect on your life such as the Covid-19 virus or anti abortion issues or the falling economy or the trade war with China or nuclear missiles in N. Korea or Russian interference in our elections or the disastrous effects of climate change? Me? I'm doing well financially but make less than $250,00/yr. so I'm more worried about the issues I've listed.
