Fuck tanking! Blazers @ Sonics 03/18/2012 - Game Thread!

Nate and his fat, out of shape ass! Of course if he was a real leader he wouldn't have let Nate disrail him. (Andre Miller would be a good example of how to handle a Nate)

Exactly. Miller handled that perfectly. Nate and Andre didn't clash because Andre can't handle a disciplinarian. He played college ball for Majerus one of the most demanding coaches in college basketball for years. He got into it with Nate cause he realized Nate didn't know what the fuck he was doing. The team got better because of it.

Chandler got 5/37?

More than 8 for Nic is really pushing it then. I fear the Blazers will overpay to keep him.

The highest I'd go and be comfortable with is 5/40.

We can't give 5 year deals anymore according to the new cba. So it's like 4/32?

The team went from 54 wins prior to Miller, with Steve Blanky as PG, to 50 wins, and then to 48 wins.

How that is "better", only you seem to know.

Only you seem not to know.

Getting personal at 8 am, eh? Good coffee. You'll be even crankier by midnight.

Yes you can give five year deals to your own guys.

I thought they took a year off. So the old CBA teams that owned their player's bird rights can offer a 5 year deal and other teams could only offer 4. Now it's 4 years for teams that own their players bird rights and other teams can only offer 3.

The team won fewer games, but was somehow "better". Uh huh...

Pointing this out is getting 'personal' only to thin-skinned posters.

Explain to me wilson chandler signing a five year deal yesterday then.

He said the team got better between the early season and late season because of the midseason adjustment which Miller forced upon McMillan, i.e. letting Miller play in a non-Blake style. So you answered with irrelevant season-to-season comparisons.

Oh my mistake.... They took a year off, so I thought the previous was only 5 year max deals. It used to be 6 years. You are right, I'm wrong.

So previous the contracts were 6 years if you are re-signing with your team, 5 years if another team signs you.

Now it's 5 years if you sign with your team, 4 years if someone else signs you.

Why don't you do some research and compare second half scoring margin with Blake at starting PG and Miller at starting PG.

Hey one-trick. Your pony called.

Wow, a die-hard Nate apologist whose identity was based upon posts consisting of irrelevant stats to prove Nate's coaching prowess calling someone a one-trick pony. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

Your identity seems to consist of following me around from thread to thread. Quite the niche you've carved out, whoever you are.

Hey, we all need to carve out our own identity/niche. And since you've seemed to do that very well, why not learn from the best.

How about instead of comparing two completely seperate years, you compare the win/loss record the same year that Miller and Blake were on the Blazers together and if the team won more when Blanky started, or when Miller started. Seems a little more logical to me.

Sly, the reverberations are getting worse. Now I'm hearing a double echo instead of a single echo.
