Someone is missing the point. This has nothing to do with me with respect to my accomplishments. But, in all honesty, I guarantee that my work plate has been FAR more difficult than that of Stanford boy - yet if we are measured by efficacy, I am in total failure by comparison. It's like comparing the stats of a .500 hitting t-baller to a mendoza-line major leaguer and then comparing their outputs with a straight face. Anyway, Stanford boy is just being used as an example. Like I already mentioned, what I've said about him may or may not be true. It's the better than thou ideology that I am taking issue with and Stanford boy just seems to ooze with it - he may not in reality.
BS! What about all the other students that actually deserved an A!?!? Smart move doing CC before a 4 year school. That's basically what I did and it saved me a ton.
Yeah, my brother went to the UC system right away. He's going to walk away from school 100,00+ in debt. I just can't fathom that right now or in the future. I'm looking @ a 1-2 years @ a big school and then I'm fuckin' done. I'm hoping to get hired on with the federal government, they pay off student loans.
Student loans are a great system for forcing people to join "productive" society immediately after graduation...my fiscally conservative system allowed me a lot of time for playing music and skiing...
I read the OP to mean that his 539 points included the 40% on the first exam. So that exam was like a D but after that he had A++, and missed the course grade of A by 1 point. I think you read it to mean that he got an A on course work after the initial exam, so that his overall average was well below an A. I think that Pontius is saying that you aren't entitled to criticize the general idea of entitlements if you used entitlements, such as the student loans you later said you used.
Rush Limbaugh loves the quality of the Hawaii medical system, where costs are very low because everyone is required to be insured. Being from out of state, he paid for it, but look at all of the other bums who use entitlements. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/paul-abrams/limbaugh-lauds-socialist_b_409378.html
All this butt-hurting over me calling out somebody that is mad at their teacher for not getting an "A". Even though they didn't get enough points for an "A". Everybody should get all A's. Everybody should be a millionaire without working. Hooray!
Bernie Madoff guaranteed returns; we all see what those guarantees were worth. Unless you know about the background of blazerboy30, it seems you don't have enough data points to know for certain.
