That might be too high but I'm convinced a team 1-7 will let Landry or Anderson slip. And another thing, if Okoyes coming into the NFL at 19, the kid just finished puberty he's barely been a man yet and he's already in the NFL. But the time this guys 24 he'll be dominating.</div>A buddy of mine said that He's the Eddy Curry of the NFL and it's the truth. It's a highly physical position and he's not even fully developed physically yet because of his young age, it's going to take some time for him to grow into his own body. In this case, his age might actually be a negative as he probably won't be ready to contribute for at least a couple years and the NFL rarely gives prospects that long to grow as it's a Win Now League, but at the same time his age is causing him to be overrated as a prospect. At the same time he has to learn the proper technique in order to stand up to the rest of the big men on the Offensive Lines of the NFL. He is going to be the kind of player you want on their Second NFL contract and not their First, as there is going to be plenty of growing pains involved before he finally comes into his own. Defensive Tackles usually take 2-3 years to hit their play up to their potential as is, just being 19 years old is going to make that process last even longer. I'm not saying he's a bad prospect, but NFL teams might have to wait 3-4 years to get the kind of reward on their investment that they are expecting and by that time his contract will be pretty much up. Point is that whoever drafts Okoye needs to realize that they are drafting a project.
True, and Being the Eddy Curry of the NFL is a bad thing. Because he's soft, plays smaller then he is and most of the time is lost on the court.
I like all those picks. We definitely gotta take Landry 1st because, if you watched the games last year, it was obvious that Crocker was garbage. I know it would never happen, BUT, if the Raiders pass on Calvin and he falls to #3 or 4, I'd love to see a trade-up. Johnson is a freak.
